I agree, if maybe the orb has a lightsource inside it the pet's fur should be shaded to reflect that, even some fur displacement around the orb would help it fit in.

Where's you get the pic from? The finalised ones in the current thread look fine to me, not like the one you were messing with which did look a bit like a sticker I'll admit.

Krin actually just changed it Amaya :) You're looking at the new version, this thread was referring to the old version.

The new version is, very much, improved ^w^ Soo much better.

i just noticed this myself. the update is much better and looks like it belongs now.

I'm not very knowledgeable in art and shading techniques, but i do also agree the orb looks a little flat. I also agree the white outline contributes to this, but i gotta admit I do kinda like the bottom left part of the orb being a little whiter, like its got a nice sheen to it. The example given does look much more 3D tho, but i do like the sought of more shiny look of the orb too ^^
