I look at Blaze in surprise and sympathy. I open my jaw as if to speak, but I don't find words and close it.

She looks at you surprised for a second, "Oh, good idea!" she shifts into a winged tiger and the others following along and switching into strange creatures.

It leaps towards you but spins out of the way and attempts to swipe at you at the last second.
The creature lands and goes completely still just before you hear a strange voice in your head, "Humans are not supposed to know about things like us. We are only supposed to be myths or interesting stories to tell their friends. They should never find out we are real, it's already bad enough trying to escape the scientists!"

"... I'm gonna... go for a short walk." he point towards the door and quickly spins on his heel.

The bear still surprised by the sudden attack from the 'fox' looks up surprised as you approach, it slightly backs up glancing at you in wonder. Just as the fox bites down onto it's leg causing the bear to Yelp in pain before running off to clean it's wound. Mid-bite the fox completely changes to a human who stops biting in disgust, "Ugh..." he spits out the bears fur. He then notices you but doesn't seem to know how to react as he stares up at you in with a mixture of fear and shock.

(I figured these would help you imagine a fox shifting into a human.)

He looks towards you questioningly, "Is your sister a.. human or shifter?"

You showed up at school only a few days late so you still had the chance to make friends. In fact the first thing that happened when you stepped onto the schoolgrounds involved making friends.

As soon as you walked passed the gate someone rushed up to you from behind and threw their arm around your shoulders "Your the new girl right?! I'm Mack!" a girl with auburn hair and blue eyes shouted happily to you.
