Sorry to hear that, but I can't say it would be unexpected. We're a pretty suspicious lot here. She glanced over the counter a bit and noticed Bandit, who was hovering over the floor in a relaxed position, You got an Ink? I hear they're really hard to tame! She made a small wave at Bandit, who ignored her, before looking up again. Oh! she projected, seeming to not have noticed your bad mood, My name's Zetwal.

He nodded, and suddenly his voice was projected into your head. Alright. She prolly told you crimelord's name was Morganna, yes? Its not. His real name is James, and he's dead. He shook his head, Sorry, wrong use. He's dead in another world, but somehow his consciousness traveled here. He's absolute crazy, and brilliant. No one here can currently match his intelligence level. Out only choice left? We have to kill him. We know where his main base is, and how to get in. Except, all the henchmen there are like you and him, from another world. Thus, we need you to get in and activate a certain sequence on one of the computers.

Astraeus had to prevent the urge to squeal out loud. "Oh." She settled on a flat tone instead. "I take it... faked his death a couple of times? Why would he be here though?"

((That's Alec for you. Always in a bad mood))

Alec was relieved that this person wasn't going to be like the last one. He held out his hand politely. "My name is Alec. Nice to meet you," he said. He gestured at his ink. "This is Bandit."

The woman nodded, voice coming to your ears in that watery way, *Yes, child. You need to find the pieces of the mirror, and they are scattered. When you find one piece, you will come back and find another.*
"Do I just go through then right now, or do I need to find the pieces first before going through?" I ask nervously

He shrugged, He probably figured there would be less competition. But he did not fake his death, it is very hard to explain. He actually died somewhere else, but somehow is still alive here, as if he sent a half of himself through the portal and left the rest to die. He shuddered a bit, It is distressing to think about.

"Ah. Good for him, then. So we are dealing with a non-living organism here?" Astraeus wanted to confirm it, because if they were, things would get very complicated. Then again, this wasn't the normal world so maybe biology did not apply here.

*You find the pieces within the mirrors, being guarded by a Greater Mythical. So, yes you pick one now. But feel free to take your time.*

Zetwal shook your extended hand vigorously, Pleasure to meet you too, Alec! she made a small wave t Bandit, who had floated up to the counter as you introduced him, and was not resting there. He seemed to act a lot like a cat sometimes. Oh, almost forgot in all the excitement! What did you want to order? She passed you a long piece of sturdy paper from underneath the counter. There were what appeared to be words written all over the thing, but they were all written in a foreign language that you lacked comprehension of.
