Backstory:
She was the third youngest out of seven siblings. Her parents were always very busy so she never got too know them well. They loved all of their children but being poor due to having so many mouths to feed they were constantly working to make sure the entire family could eat. She grew up surrounded by places to explore as that was all her and her siblings did as there family couldn't pay to go to other places. Matty looks back on her childhood fondly as they all just fun and her parents always managed to out food on the table. She left once she was old enough to make way in life for herself.

Backstory (Just going to casually add personality here as well because copy and paste..)
She is a very bubbly and excitable character, eager to find out everything she can. She will run off without thinking things through and doesn't care much at all about anything, as long as it's fun! She loves discovered new places and things. She dreams to become the worlds best adventurer or even to find a new world before anyone else. Although she knows these are just flyaway dreams shes determined to try and goes straight for gold every time. however, this means she gets very upset when shes fails and has a corner sulk growing mushrooms.
She lives with her family for as long as possible, but has left and come back from multiple adventures with treasures she has discovered, even if they aren't big ones like a ruby ring. She has a younger brother of 8 years old and her parents are now elderly. She was taught basic skills such as cooking from a young age and picked up new herbs quickly, finding she adored to collect them until she had one of each type. She never lets her family use medicine now and gives them some of her own remedies using the herbs she collects.
Her brother was very sickly as a baby and barely pulled through. She was very close to him for this reason as she would tell him stories of others and her own adventures and always kept a keen eye on him. He was born slightly deformed, but she loves him all the same and wants to make him proud and happy.
Likes
Arico adores all kind of natural things such as berries, fruits and even leaves. She prefers living wild when she's out exploring and loves finding out new things or objects. She doesn't mind getting injured if it's to learn. She also loves telling stories to her brother and seeing him happy. She views wildlife as beautiful.
Dislikes
She dislikes having to leave her family and feels a tinge of guilt as she does. She hates when people go out exploring and don't use the nature around them instead using canned food or buy food at markets instead of hunting. She has an unconveniant dislike of insects that buzz, finding the noise slightly annoying. She dislikes seeing anyone injured or being stupid.

Personality
She's a very silent and lithe one in movement, also very bold. Her actions tend to be very straightforwards and harsh, sometime she'll even do preposterous things without warning, although whatever she does, she'll have thought it through and decided it's the best action to make given the situation, and she tries to help as much as she can to others, although it may seem like she's being bossy or making a move that was a wild move.
She's somewhat haughty and always holds herself elegantly, no matter the situation, and she regards others as all the same, no matter if they are a poor person or if they are a king; they are all the same in her eyes, and even when she moves, her back is always straight and her head held high, giving her a confident look to outsiders, although whenever she moves, she makes absolutely no sound, and if she wants to, she can blend into the crowd, becoming the needle in the haystack. She has trained herself to be able to copy another's movements, footsteps, and to an extent, their voice.
Astraeus enjoys the outdoors and nature, and likes to climb things and take creative routes to her destination, although those creative routes include walking on roofs and some parkour, she will always try to use the fastest path and even then, she'll enjoy it. If Dragon hasn't mentioned before, she likes parkour and being assassin-y.
In battle, she uses her stealth and speed to her advantage, tiring out her enemy before finally bringing them down, rather than directly engaging them in a fight. Or, if she can, she'll sneak up behind the enemy and do a flash attack strike before disappearing, leaving the enemy's allies or friends to wonder what had just happened.
However, due to her haughtiness in her personality, she doesn't take it lightly when she's insulted. She will retort, and if the insult was a pretty bad one, she'll proceed to logic roast and do what she can behind the scenes to ruin the offender's life. Not only that, and if anybody mentions anything about her dead family and especially, insults the fact that her mother and sister were dead, people are going to get hurt. Or, people are going to mysteriously disappear.
Because of her backstory, she has learnt the hard way that caring for somebody else will only result in pain, so she is careful not to form any attachments to anyone, and she has vowed to get revenge for her dead family members who were wrongfully killed, and she has also vowed to stop others from being wrongfully killed or mistreated, and if she discovers anyone doing any of the things mentioned above, people are going to get hurt or disappear out of existence.
All of the things she's seen and the events she'd been through have caused her smile to disappear... probably forever. Astraeus won't smile anymore, and if you get her to smile... it's as if you've made the sun rise up in the west or done some sort of impossible thing.
Backstory:
She was abandoned and left out on the streets ever since her last memory, probably because she was a genderqueer one, and she remembers nearly freezing to death in one of her very early winters. It was completely by luck that she survived, and to this day, she claims that she believes in the one called "Lady Luck" who saved her. The younger Astraeus learned to become tricky and clever, using tricks to survive, stealing from others or in some other way, and she would rather talk her way out of trouble than rather fight. She grew up with nobody, only by herself, and she knows the roads and alleys of the kingdom like the back of her hand, and she has quite a few friends in there. She was then taken in my a kind lady with a daughter that was younger than her.
At one point in her past, she was betrayed and felt hurt and angry when her new adoptive mother and sister were wrongfully killed. Everyone turned against her, and she was forced to leave. She was deep in the grasps of fury when she made the vow to hunt down anyone who was slaughtering innocents and/or mistreating people. She promised herself that as long as she would live, she will prevent reasonless executions or slavery and mistreatment. And if she finds someone like that... the person would taste her fury and her weapon. With this in mind, she set out to explore the world.
