Personality:
She is smart but seems blunt and slow to the point. She is quite stubborn and dose not ask for help even if she needs it. She does not like talking about her past, though she will if asked, and tends to shut down after. Is a bit clingy, no regard for personal space. Very Protective, and prone to violence.

She was the third youngest out of seven siblings. Her parents were always very busy so she never got too know them well. They loved all of their children but being poor due to having so many mouths to feed they were constantly working to make sure the entire family could eat. She grew up surrounded by places to explore as that was all her and her siblings did as there family couldn't pay to go to other places. Matty looks back on her childhood fondly as they all just fun and her parents always managed to out food on the table. She left once she was old enough to make way in life for herself.

Backstory:
She is a very bubbly and excitable character, eager to find out everything she can. She will run off without thinking things through and doesn't care much at all about anything, as long as it's fun! She loves discovered new places and things. She dreams to become the worlds best adventurer or even to find a new world before anyone else. Although she knows these are just flyaway dreams shes determined to try and goes straight for gold every time. however, this means she gets very upset when shes fails and has a corner sulk growing mushrooms.
She lives with her family for as long as possible, but has left and come back from multiple adventures with treasures she has discovered, even if they aren't big ones like a ruby ring. She has a younger brother of 8 years old and her parents are now elderly. She was taught basic skills such as cooking from a young age and picked up new herbs quickly, finding she adored to collect them until she had one of each type. She never lets her family use medicine now and gives them some of her own remedies using the herbs she collects.
Her brother was very sickly as a baby and barely pulled through. She was very close to him for this reason as she would tell him stories of others and her own adventures and always kept a keen eye on him. He was born slightly deformed, but she loves him all the same and wants to make him proud and happy.

Backstory:
She was abandoned and left out on the streets ever since her last memory, probably because she was a genderqueer one, and she remembers nearly freezing to death in one of her very early winters. It was completely by luck that she survived, and to this day, she claims that she believes in the one called "Lady Luck" who saved her. The younger Astraeus learned to become tricky and clever, using tricks to survive, stealing from others or in some other way, and she would rather talk her way out of trouble than rather fight. She grew up with nobody, only by herself, and she knows the roads and alleys of the kingdom like the back of her hand, and she has quite a few friends in there. However, she loved to learn new things, and she steeled her heart, deciding to leave the kingdom to explore, and it didn't bother her, because she never had a true home, after all

She cant remember much, just flashes. The warmth of a fire while she was in her mothers arms, and the cold draft that entered with her father as he collapsed, bleeding on the floor. The gentle sound of raindrops as he grasped her hand tight, the shadow that crept over his face as he died. The feeling of life the wilderness brought her while she was gathering with her mother, the strange noises that night that she never heard again along with her mothers voice.
Growing up alone, developing riddles and daring people to answer them. If they could, she worked for them, if they lost, they gave her basic needs. Street-rat of sorts.
Likes: the flickering and crackling of a warm fire, the sound of gentle raindrops on a roof, the feeling of life when alone in the wilderness, and riddles: riddles are her favorite

He was the youngest out of a group of 10 orphans that were raised by a lady who cared for them.The others didn't care much for her.But he loved her as a mother and helped her.He learnt most of his crafting skills from her and many other things.Such as he was found on her doorstep in a small Red and Gold blanket.She had hurriedly burned the blanket,unsure if it's meaning.When she died he took care of her house until it burned down.After that he lived on the streets,making tiny toys for children.He has and will always have a soft spot for them.
