Okay, so I was thinking of creating a deceptive pair of pets. Deception means To Deceive and what I'm meaning by it is say a white eggling leads to a black and bloody dark pet or vice versa. Something along those lines lke this as a example:
White Eggling (Spots can be something else if it fits the design)
Nice, kind, gentle, you think it will hatch into a bright pretty pet yet it hatches into a bloody serial killer!
The egg is deceptive to what is inside. Everyone understand? It can be any species excluding Ny'vene, Puffadore, Nephini, and Lighira. I know there is no way I'm going to be able to get essences for those if I decide to make it. The limit is two visable, I am more then likely only going to be able to get ahold of normal essences if I make a pair meaning it will be double carry parents.
Be sure to show both the egg and the adult and give a short sentence or two explanation why it's deceptive.
This end at the end of the month
Unlimited entries but please keep images at size 300 or less to avoid a bunch of huge pictures everywhere
Have fun
Will decide prizes at a later date and edit this to show them

It looks sweet but turns red and bloody looking (Ornate Spangles and Life Lines) or
It looks sunny and bright but it is mostly grey and dark (Paint and Fallow Deer) or
It looks grey but it is very colorful (African Painted and Tri Tails) or
It's going to be blue... wait no orange(Shadow Markings and Ornamental Headpiece)
It's deceptive because the outside looks black but on the inside it's mostly white.
@Katherineac,
Your design would require a Enhanced Essence which there's almost no chance of me getting which was why I asked for only two showing so I can possible make double carry parents out of normal essences
