Are you allowed to use premade gingerbread house building kits?
You can use kits to build one, but you can't use a premade one - you still have to actually construct it yourself.

I'm back again! (Never made a gingerbread house before either...this should be fun.)
Got the kit. Yes it's a dog house cute right?!
Got house done and drying. Supplies have bee hunted down and gathered.

And it's done! I even made a sugar cookie person to go along with it. Yes he is the Dragonborn from Skyrim, but he still looks cool!

Here is my entry for the Gingerbread House Contest!
I was inspired by a really cute Graham Cracker Oven I found online, so I decided to make a whole kitchen!
First I started by carefully cutting the Graham Crackers and spraying them with an edible food color spray to make them look metallic. Then I started building the kitchen.
The oven was fun, with 4 burners on the top and a rack with food inside, the oven's door was left open so you can see the cooking food inside. I also traded out the original fridge made of Club Crackers for a sturdier one made of Graham Crackers
A close up of the food inside. Unfortunately the whipped cream drooped into a puddle by the time it was finished
I added on a table with 2 chairs, and gave the fridge a door coated in brown frosting and complete with colored chips for magnets and a pretzel stick for a handle(you can't see it in this picture, but you can see it in a later one)
The completed project with lots of fun details! The top of the fridge has a potted plant (actually a Rolo and tomato) and lots of collecting dust and junk. The fridge is filled with goodies, the counter top has items scattered all over including a fruit bowl, and the oven has a messy towel hanging from it's handle. The Table has 3 red and white candles(with tiny wicks!), plates and silverware, and a pair of cups, one of which has spilled its milk onto the floor.
A closer look!
