He couldn't help but over hear the woman. A vision? Of a red moon? Huh...maybe they spoke of another like them? He didn't want to easedrop it just kind of happened. That was until Silver whimpered at him from where he was being carried in a sling about the man's chest. The small fox was hardly able to walk and his eyes had just opened a day or two before. Myles smiled at the fox before petting him gently. Much like his master Silver had a near cresant moon on his head though his was a white instead of black like his owner.

Kai felt like he was about to cry from all the insults and rude language hurtled towards him, he hugged his arms against his chest, hoping he could just become invisible. He quickly walked over to Lynn, hoping to go for her for protection from the taunts

Lynn saw Kai hurrying to them with his head down and ran over at once, putting her arms around his shoulders.

"You okay?" She whispered. The rose in her hand vanished, her concentration was lost. "I know it's hard, but it's just so we can live. Just so we can prove to them that we don't deserve to be treated like this." He had taken on the role in her heart as 'Little brother', even if he was slightly older. "Then the others can come out of hiding."

She knew they all had terrible pasts, but Kai's parents had actually tried to kill him.
