This year's Summer Festival is scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 29th, at 12pm!

Start Time: Tuesday, August 29th at 12:00 PM
End Time: Sunday, September 24th at 11:59 PM

We realize that the Summer Festival has come quite late this year. Unfortunately, outside variables and the Lunemara Revamp pushed back the start date by a couple of weeks.

However, we have a ton of content in store for this year's festival - possibly the most ever for a Summer Festival! As such, we are planning on having the festival run for almost an entire month.

The following will be available from this year's Summer Festival:

-New Restricted Trait Sets (3 in total)
-New Pet Traits (6, I think, excluding Restricted Traits)
-New Avatar Items (150 brand new items to collect)
-New Themed Pets (Looking like a total of 61 new Themed)

-A brand new Exploration Map that's the same size as this year's Spring Festival Map, but without the Maze section.

-The Exploration Zone will be host to 16 different Named amongst 8 spawn points, 32 Wild Themed Pets (16 of which will be new), and 21 Event Themed Pets.

-Beach Treasure Hunting (Sylesti Seeking) will return this year with some slight modifications. It will be set up more as a bonus game with various festival items as rewards.

-Sylesti Sand Sculpting is being introduced. An entirely new feature, this will allow players to collect various materials and sculpt their very own Themed Pets! In total, 24 Themed Pets will be available from this feature. Use your collected items to control Traits, Stats, and more for each of your created pets!

-There will be 3 full rounds of Leaderboard Contests throughout the festival for both battling and nurturing.

-Plenty of fun Forum Games throughout the duration of the festival.

-Festival Shop to spend Festival Currency on.

The Battle Log will say, "Rare Enemy", in purple text instead of the typical, "Enemy", in red(?) text.

Yay! I'm so excited to see all the new themed pets!

Ah~ This sounds a lot like the Spring Festival, which happened to be my first Spring Festival (even though I've been here a while). And likewise, this is my first Summer Festival!

Having only Fall / Winter Fests of past to compare to, I feel that the Spring Festival was really a lot of stuff and was really awesome. There was always something to do and lots of ways to get the pets you were after. With a growing user base, I think that is very important. I used to be able to keep up on leaderboards but with life and just not being very good at it, that isn't possible for me anymore. So I am so grateful that there are other ways to get those themed pets, as I definitely remember a time when there wasn't!

Also really excited to see the sand-building pets; that sounds adorable! I'm imagining getting little shells for my sand-zolnixi's eyes, or seaweed for my sand-luffox's vines. Even if it is nothing like that, that's what I'm picturing ^-^;

Thank you for the heads up, too, about when! Just don't let any of the sandcastle pets into your bag; you'll never get that sand out.

Oooo, I am so excited for the Summer Festival to begin! I've saved up a lot of money and have all my traps. With all these new themed pets, I might need another stable or three! XD

I am happy the fishing/beach digging game has returned. I've always loved doing that. It's a nice way to earn items needed for building pets as well as some diamond shop items.

I am very curious about these 'event themed' pets.

Basically, I can't wait to jump in and start playing in the Summer Festival! :D
