I'm so sorry for how late this is! I've been having some issues with the renegerator (anyone else find it's not working properly in Firefox?) but finally managed to regen the winning designs. It was really hard to choose and all of the designs were amazing, so instead of one winner and some runners-up, I've decided to choose three winners!

{ Contest Two: Bugs }

Deadline: Sunday 24th September (02:00 AM)


In this contest I would like you to design a Lunemara pair based on real-life bugs. Bonus points if you include a reference pic and/or teach me something new about your chosen insect!

Please create a new post for each contest, I won't be checking any of the posts submitted before this one. You may resubmit any designs you think will fit this theme :)


Final designs may be edited ever so slightly

Praying Mantis: Greek the word mantis means prophet or fortune teller.

Firefly: Fireflies produce a "cold light", with no infrared or ultraviolet frequencies.

Ladybird: Ladybirds bleed from their knees when threatened.

Monarch Butterfly: Monarch butterflies store a poison called Cardiac Glycosides that they had ingested by feeding on the leaves of the milkweed foliage in their larva stage.

Bumblebee: The world's largest bumblebee is the Bombus dahlbomii of South America.

If I win, it might be a bit until I can accept the offspring and the Loonies; I'm running out of stable space and don't have enough gold to buy another tab and still be able to feed my Sylesties.

This isn't one of my prouder designs, but I'm happy with it.
Luna moths don't have mouths, so they don't eat anything; this might be a cause of their one-week lifespans as adults.
I might make more soon after school ends.

It is difficult to photograph, its colors change a little from a light bright blue to a darker, rich blue depending on the type of lighting.

I love designing pets and I will post some entries for the Bug contest too!

But first I want to show you the regenerated lady Lune. :)
Here she is!

Her name is a variation on the design name. She also has a male!
And his name is the name of the design I came up with. :)
