You start to walk forward but a beam of light surrounds Laurel and lifts him up into the air. You try to grab hold of his feet but you aren't quick enough. He disappears into the sky. StarSong seemed upset but apparently Laurel was just a collegue to him. You carry on walking and soon you come to five tunnels. You think StarSong had said something about which one to choose before the bridge fell, but you can't remember what it was and neither can he. Which tunnel do you choose?

That's ok! It makes it more interesting definitely. If anyone else wants to do that it's fine.

I recall the mentioned conversation. The tunnel had started with an F, which left out the second and third, leaving only the First, Fourth, and Fifth.

I would like to try the First path.

I glance between the three Sylesti, knowing I am going to break a heart. Sighing heavily, I whisper 'I would like to take Cassie and Felix please..' Looking up, I see three confused expressions staring at me. I swallow, and say a bit louder 'Cassie and Felix.' The look on Ollie's face broke my heart, but the decision was made...

You choose the first path and to your relief, you find yourself back in Sylestia. You recognise the town of Esior's Haven in the distance and with Starsong you feel safe again. Now you just have to remember how to get home again. A small crack in the floor of the hill you are standing on cracks open whilst a stone plinth rises up out out of the ground with your Sylesti standing on it.
'Well done Talyn.' she says. 'I have tested you to see if you are worthy to take these Sylestis home with you. Only the adventurer of the purest heart would I trust these poor, homeless creatures to. And you have exceeded my expectations.' Would you like to keep any of these three? Remember, you can only take two Sylesti through the portal back home. Choose wisely.'
Three Sylesti's come out of the tunnel behind you and you look at them curiously.

Ollie sighs. 'that's ok, I'd probably just weigh you down anyway.' Suddenly, Felix crumples to the floor holding his head.' There's a voice.. In my head... It's telling us to go into the lake!.' he mutters painfully. You ask if Felix is ok and all the pain seems to melt away. You grab Felix, Cassie and your Sylesti and walk into the Lake. In the Lake are three Sylestis. 'We are Ceres, Melody and River and we have come to take you home.'

You follow the Sylestis into an underwater cave when unexpectedly you can breathe again. Just follow the steps up out of the cave and you will be back home again. . Remember, you can only take two new Sylestis with you , this place will disappear and you will never see the Sylestis you leave behind again. Choose carefully...
