My name is Chieko Prouffe. I was originally living in the Kalos region, but my mother decided to move Goodra and I to the warm, tropical Alola region. It was.. different... to say the least. In Kalos, people didn't care who you were, unless you were a celebrity. At that point, they would be obsessed. I never minded that, as I usually kept to myself. In Alola, however, people were very friendly and outgoing, a new concept to me. It also was unusual for a stranger to greet you as a friend. Little did I know, this loving region would become more of a home than Kalos ever was.

Chieko sat on the front porch grooming the mane of her partner Pokemon, who was a sweet Swoobat. She never knew why the boys at the trainers school laughed at her for having Swoobat.
