Back Story: He grew up with only his mother and grandfather in his grandfather's beach house. When he was little, he enjoyed making sandcastles with his powers and often made them large enough for him to sit inside. As he grew, so did his powers, until he was able to manipulate most gemstones. The harder gems, like diamonds, are still too tough for him to separate, but he can move them without altering their form. One day, as he returned home from the private beach, his mother grinned while handing him a letter. His grandfather smiled at him from his recliner, and Benjamin opened the letter, quickly read it over, and tightly hugged both of his family members before running to pack.
Extra (Optional): He's generally very happy but it's fairly easy to upset him. People who have large personal bubbles tend to dislike him because he loves to hug people, often without warning. Purple is his favorite color, and he has a large collection of small figurines made from purple gemstones. A few of the figures were made by him. He had a girlfriend once, but she was extremely jealous of every girl he so much as looked at, so he's kind of hesitant about relationships now.
