I've regenned and mutated another male Sunrise.

In other news, waiting for a whole bunch of babies to grow up. I'm very excited to be able to start breeding some of them, in particular those with much better colors than when I began.

First of all, please let me know if you'd rather not get pinged if I have news regarding new hatchlings or if I have new sunrise vorpas available for breeding? I can always just post news about either without pinging.

Regarding new hatchlings, I've had some very mixed results from the new ones today. Overall, I think I'm getting the colors slowly more sorted I think. It's just taking time. I also realize that every time a new trait is added, I'll have to work on the colors over again. lol. It makes me want to shudder a bit at the thought.

Anyway, wanted to show a few of the offspring. There were a lot, but I think these were a few of the more interesting ones. I'll also just show what they look like as adults.

First, is this female that's a 3vis, 2 carry. I think her colors look really good? She's a daughter of Eratos.

Next is this male. He's only a 1 vis, 2 carry but I think his colors look really good. I'll set him up for breeding when he's old enough. He's another of Eratos' kids again though.

Third is this 1 vis, 4 carry. She has some interesting carries though! Valentine Lace and Lotus Scales on a girl with pretty decent colors.

And last is this fellow with unfortunately a bit of a weak gene color 1. He's a 6 carry though. So I'll definitely keep him for now and try breeding him to some less swung females. It's at least not the worst gene color 1 I've seen.

Do please continue to ping me, Sav. I don't breed Sunrises that often, but I like to keep up with things.

Oh, and Dawwama, here, has rather good colors, including G1.

Just sayin'.

Very nice! Sellner has been great for breeding to with a really nice gene 1. She's almost up to 20 babies!

Seeing her offspring via the pet lineage page is a reminder I need to get back to work naming, too.

I enjoy getting pings for these updates, so definitely feel free to continue ^__^ I haven't bred any sunrises lately to share, but I like seeing what other people are doing ^.^

New babies! A good portion of them will be released this time though due to their gene 1 swing. I'll work on rebreeding most of the parents again over the next couple days.

Here's the four babies that really stood out to me this time (as adults).

This is only a 2vis but I really like the combo on him. He's also a grandson of Eratos so he's getting a little bit further away from the genetic bottleneck I ended up making. His hiddens are gene 1 spark stripes and gene 2 water sprite.

Next is this female. She's a 1-vis, 3-carry that also has a hidden Mandarinfish. She, too, is a grandchild of Eratos.

This 1-vis, 4-carry is a daughter of Eratos. She has hidden Spark Stripes.

The last one is also an Eratos daughter. She's a 3-vis, 1-carry that has hidden Henna, Valentine Lace, and Lotus Scales. These hiddens are gorgeous together if vis.

So yeah, more kids of Eratos in the end. I really am trying to further lines away from him but it's taking a bit of time for the colors to really get to where they need to be. I'm happy to have a couple pretty good grandkids though. Also, I figure if I have any exact male duplicates bred of the same parentage, I wouldn't need to have the duplicate and can rehome him.

Pinging Spelf and Mika so they know, too, that the one owned by Pirate now belongs to Zelly.
