Mesmerized by the gorgeous snow, and hoping there weren't bugs in the snow *shivers* I choose the snowy forest. I look around at the other, hoping to have someone with me.

Snow, a road and a jungle. No that wasn't random at all....but whatever, he'd just have to see what went where and with a glance at two figured moving into the snow area, Isa trekked on into the jungle. He'd never much preferred cold, so it would be nicer for him going through the forest. At least he wouldn't freeze.

Road.
Jungle
Snowy Forest.
Are you freaking serious?

Cue multiple facepalms

I would go into the snow. Honestly I would. But there's just a tinnnny problem. Yes, a very tiny problem.

I hated the cold. I then notice Isa heading into jungle. I quickly follow him.

I notice the others heading into the jungle and the forest. Hmm. What a tough decision. I ponder my options while looking again. The straightest way may not be the best but it is the least travelled by the 5 of us. Daring to be bold I head straight for the middle right down the road.

@InnocentWings,
@Starfall2466,
@Ember2000,
@Isa,
@Katherineac,

Katherineac was a poor soul. The Fae had put the road there as a temptation. Before she could travel very far she falls into a hidden pit, hurting both her legs badly. The sides were much too steep to climb and there was magic preventing the others from seeing or hearing what happened to her. "The straightest path is the most deadly, has anyone ever told you that?" a faerie says from the top of the pit.

It was a snowy wonderland in the forest. Ice decorated the trees in natural ornaments that stores tried to replicate but came nowhere close. The snow fell softly and gently, blowing and swirling in the wind and the sight was enough to take your breath away. It almost made you forget the cold you were in or that danger could be lurking anywhere. There was still time to turn back to the beach or to keep trudging forward.

The jungle was about the opposite of the snowy realm. It was hot, dark and gloomy. It seemed every root tried to trip and every branch snagged his clothes. Jungles were very dangerous places so he would have to be careful, especially being alone. There was still time for him to turn back to the beach or choose a different path or he could continue on

Welp I guess I should have played it safe! Good luck to everyone else.

Edit: Suddenly I realize I may yet have a chance.
"Hello, Memorable Faerie" I say graciously bowing to the faerie, possibly laying on too much charm. " I do hope I can make a deal with you. You see I'd rather not lose my life so quickly. I do prefer a challenge and I must say this is one. I have some wonderful shells that amazingly are still intact and I am up to challenges. Therefore I suggest that we make a trade! These shells plus a task or challenge for my life and the ability to get out of this hole."
I stand there trying to show no emotion as I wait for the faeries response.

Looking at Ember, I did not attempt to return the cheerful smile. I plopped down into the snow, excited and happy. I make snow angels and snowmen along to way hence I do not forget the way I come from, but as I trudge forward quicker, it becomes more cold by the minute. I shiver as the snow lands on my face, causing my face to flush red of cold.

I pull out a snow coat and put it on, and bring out an umbrella to stop the snow from hitting my face and with a small face of doubt, I decide to trudge forward, afraid to go back but still a bit feared to go forward.

Isa glanced back at the path that was still just a few walks away and then back into the jungle as he pulled some of the clinging branches off him and nodded his head. He was bound to find something here, though who knew exactly what. Trudging on after giving one last glance back, he chose to travel deeper on into the Jungle and see where it would lead him.

I sigh as I notice it is hot. Oh well. I was definitely dressed for heat not coldness. Yanking off the branches stuck to me, I pause to wipe the heat off my forehead and then I decide to trudge farther into the hot jungle. What harm could come of this path choice? Oh yeah. Bugs. I will survive this jungle!
