Isle of the Faerie
Faeries, the Fae. Folk and lore often fear the Fae because of their power, their cunning, and their habit for mischief. The Fae in modern times are mostly forgotten, the fear they once held over man all but gone. We call them Myths, simple stories of people frightened long ago. But we are wrong.

The Fae are very much real and do not like what we have become or that we have forgotten them. They want to be believed in once more and have come up with a little game to play. Stealing away a few people at a time to a magic island they have set traps and woes on. If you can find the way off, they will return you home to tell the tale of how the Fae are real. But if you fall, woe unto you, lost to the fae realm forever.

In the night they come, the swiftest of the Faerie. Gliding into houses and over rooftops to find suitable humans for their games. Carrying away those they pick, they leave them to rest on the beach of the island as the sun rises over the waves. One stays behind to tell them of what awaits.

"Of our game you will play, or death you must pay. Over the sea be not the way, and you will perish surely if you go astray. Head for the mountain's peak, there awaits the leader of the Fae. Should you make it there by her power shall she return you from wince you came. But beware, the path is not as it seems and filled with dangers. The straightest course could very well lead to your death and the wrong path your doom. Wild beasts live upon the isle and not all those friendly. Many would have you for dinner. But also there are long lost treasures hidden in forgotten places and you may keep what you find. Us Fae will be watching and having a great time" the faerie says before flying off and leaving you where you stood.
