a bright red DO NOT ENTER sign, but she paid no heed to it and began to

After all, she was a Queen and she would not let go of her pride, however threatening the circumstance.
She did, however, make sure to pay attention to all of her surroundings, not wanting to be caught completely off guard by something while looking at the gleaming object.

He seemed mildly uncomfortable with the idea. "I'm not sure that would work. The head of the tribe had his first tribe ransacked by a group of rebel orcs. You approach the glint, but seem to have lost it. You no longer see any sort of glint in the sand. Then, out of nowhere, you feel a sharp pain in your right ankle. What do you want to do?
