In the area where you click to try to help the Hatchlings, ie.: Help Nurture Selesties Sometimes it will not give you the shells that you just clicked. I mean when it says you found a shell, it does not credit you with said shells. Just a heads up. I don't want you to send me any, just look into it. At first I thought that there was a limit to how many you could help and collect in a day. Now I see that it is happening randomly. See you soon in the game. :-)

I believe the issue is lag on your end.

The script has no restrictions, so you can collect as fast as you can click. However, if you have a slow connection, you will begin to click faster than the code can process and queries begin to stack up. When this happens, it will basically cause a query to get skipped over and thus you won't get rewarded for it.

So you can either just go as fast as you can and not get credit for some scales, or just wait until your click processes before clicking another.

I will be fixing this, but since I don't think it's imperative at this moment, I'll probably do it after Umbra Forest is released as it will require completely rewriting the scripts.

Thanks for the info. I tried waiting, but it didn't help. I will just wait and see how it pans out. I usually get some more when I try again later, so I think for now I will just do that each time it stalls (for lack of a better term), Thanks for the great game.

This has actually happened to me a couple of times today. I tend to be a fairly slow clicker, take my time and whatnot, but I noticed several times today that the acquisition of scales just kind of .....stopped. Even after I sit and wait a bit, it will sometimes not start adding again. I've had to refresh the page entirely for it to start registering again.

The code for that feature is very old, which means it's probably terribly written.

After UF is released, I'll take some time and completely rewrite it and that'll probably fix whatever the issue may be.

Just a little update here. today I can't get any shells, even though it keeps saying that I got one. I have tried this for a few hours and none of them register. I am stuck at 69 shells. Just some info to help you when you are able to take care of it (after you finish all the other things you are fixing). Thanks.

PS. I know it is still in the Beta testing phase, so I am not in a rush, just trying to help you find anything that can be fixed before it goes into the real game play. :-)

Uhg. I'm very sorry. I have enabled cache clearing (lasts 3 hours), if you want to try clearing your cache on the nurture page by doing a hard refresh. That might temporarily fix the problem.
