I'm kind of confused on what the pet dyes mean by changing to a "hex of your choosing" and also that it's "fairly accurate".
Can someone explain or post and example of a before and after changed hex? Or what it was supposed to look like but then was only "fairly accurate"?

Hey there Golden. "Hex of your choosing" means that you can put in the hex code of the colour you want (example: FFFFFF for pure white, 000000 for pure black, 800080 for a mid-range purple, etc). By 'fairly accurate' it means that there will be a certain amount of 'swing' in the colour, meaning that when you put in FFFFFF you might not end up with white. You might get some other pale colour. or if you put in 800080, you might end up with some kind of red, blue, black, or grey instead of purple.

So you would need to know the hex code beforehand or would it look like the generator?

It brings up a colour picker like in the generator, but if you've already chosen the colour while in the generator, you can just grab the hex code from there (it's the code that's right beside the 'save' button by the colours. Has # beside it).
