How can you tell what color the mirror is?

It doesn't say what you have, and it's always gold with blue gems

when you pass through a mirror in the Spire it gives you a screen with the description of the room- like in this screenshot from the walkthrough:

^ note the walls being described as "Emerald"
The mirrors themselves are identical; the puzzle is to work out where each of the mirrors in any given room go and find the path, as where the mirrors in any room go are always the same.

If you start in one room, pick left and left again, and end up back in the first room, you can know that that path doesn't work and alter your course based on that knowledge.

(eg. using real example: Emerald room's left mirror goes to Silver room. Silver's left mirror goes to Amethyst room. Amethyst's left loops back to Emerald. This is a loop that will get you nowhere. You could, as such, A) Go Right from Emerald, B) Go Left from Emerald into Silver and then Right from Silver, C) Left from Emerald, Left from Silver, and then Right from Amethyst
etc.)

In short: You actually have to pay attention to the text boxes

I absolutely despise doing the main story for several reasons so the only way I'm being able to power through it is because of this guide, thanks a lot for this!

it depends on how you have them set up
as it is
> make sure Endless is in slot one of the party (so he can be Tank)
> I would personally lean to 1str/1agi for a water tank but that's just me. Tanks come down to personal preference and what works for the individual player and pet more than other party slots
> As a Water pet, he's a Physical element, so he needs Strength based equipment. Currently you have him with almost the worst equip loadout he could have-
an Arcanist relic (Pure Magic damage/Int stat boost; as a water element, he doesn't use the Magic damage stat at all, so he's not getting anything out of this equip beyond a very, very minor magic defence boost),
two disciple equips, one of which is lv5 (Disciples are kind of the 'placeholder' type, a stopgap until the correct sort is obtained)
and an Evoker bracer (Evoker are for Fire attackers and Light healers, boosting Int and Dex. A water tank needs Strength and Agility)

> He needs a full compliment of Assassin equips (Str/Agi)
(given that he's so ridiculously overlevelled for the area, you probably don't need to worry as much about equip rarity and level as much for the moment, but the types of the equips is still very much pertinent)

> Hala as a fire pet would typically be proffed 1int/1dex or 2int
> She has no equips at all.
> As a fire attacker, she needs int/dex equips (Evoker)

(On Agi and dex: Agility stat controls a pet's Evasion and Defence, Dexterity controls a pet's Accuracy and Critical Ht chance, Both of them equally control a pet's speed.
Fire and Air pets use critical hits to inflict their base attacks' debuff.
Tanks generally need evasion and defence to be effective tanks- the ability to dodge and resist enemy attacks.
Light healers make better use of accuracy and crits, while light tanks would lean to making better use of evasion and defence)

Erm..does any of you know about how many times does Vorpar summon his minions? I've been at battle for around 10 minutes now. He's summoning, and when I finish his annoying sidekicks, he's at full health.
