Cause of death: Killed in a war between Nir il Nord and Irgkel
Intend to become Living or Undead? Living
Personality: Because of his death, Merikh harbors a deep hate towards the countries other than Arknord. He believes that all sylestis are innately evil. He also strongly thinks his planned actions to become a living aren't wrong, since his life was stolen from him, he is justified in stealing another. He has a firm belief in the saying, "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." However, if someone can look past his pessimistic nature they will find an incredibly loyal, good-hearted sylesti. He is very kind to other poltergeists and occasionally ghosts and is inclined to help them, since he sees them as innocent ones whose lives were robbed from him like his was. Because he grew up in a time from long ago, he is amazed with modern technology and tends to have different patterns of speech and behavior.
Backstory: Merikh was a civilian living alone in the mountains of Arknord, the country between Nir il Nord and Irgkel. During the war, he didn't want to leave and tried to hide in the mountains, but a battle broke out and as he tried to flee, the physical part of his half-spiritual Ryori body was shot to death. His death was long and painful, and he ended up bleeding out under a rock at this time. His body was never recovered and his bones were left, forgotten.
Powers: Teleportation, possession, phase through walls, and all the natural powers of Ryori

He gained skeletal armor and red, exposed flesh since his skeleton was left to rot. He hates the way he looks now and despises looking in a mirror or reflective surface. He's also very skilled in the art of making magic circles and enjoys it a lot.

How long they've been dead: 4 years
Cause of death: he was killed trying to save one of his brother from a hallucination, his brother pushed them both from the mountain though the impact didn't kill him. He suffered from two broken legs and internal bleeding before he finally was allowed to slip into the after life.
Personality: Hewie is a kind soul that is just looking to help though he tends to forget that he no longer has a physical form. He wishes to help those in need and wants to help the living in any way he can.
Backstory: he was born before all this happened, though he got to see its wraith all the same. Many of his heard members died before the incident that killed him and even after he had to watch them all slowly starve without being able to help. He has taken it upon himself to end the suffering of those whom fall victim to this plague in hope that they will find peace.
Powers: he can speak with the dying, such as he can hear their thought and speak with them.
Anything else you'd like to add: he doesn't wish to return to his living form, he doesn't want to have that pain again.

Role: Child (Homeless)
Personality: Rina is kind most of the time, but can be very cold when she wants to. She usually is very quiet, and hates answering questions.
Backstory: Rina was an active, happy child, until everything was taken from her. Her parents both died from the sickness, and her sister's body was taken by a poltergeist who had managed to infiltrate the town, despite the protections. Not knowing of the resurrected dead, Rina now plans to move into the city of Serkilk to become a warrior.
Power(s): None discovered yet.
Anything else you'd like to add: Often mistaken to be a ghost, because of her vibrant blue eyes and ghostly figure.

Name: Necronym, often just goes by 'Nym'
Role: Guard
Personality: He's polite, but typically would rather be fighting something than having an idle conversation
Backstory: Necronym grew up in a normal fishing town, and like many of the Sylvorpa in the area, he had poisonous spines, claws, and teeth. As a child, he was always prone to getting into fights. Most of his fights started because of either his name, the role of his family in the town, or the fact that he was smaller than the other kids. His name roughly means 'name of the dead', and his family was the one who took care of the cemetery. When the disease came to the small town, it didn't hit them as hard as other areas, as most of the inhabitants were heavily mutated. There were still many deaths, though. And the other children treated Necronym even worse, even telling him that since he has to tend to the deceased, he'll get the disease really bad. Necronym left town and never looked back. Because of how the kids in his town treated him, he doesn't really like being around kids, and he especially hates seeing a child being bullied.
Power(s): Due to the spines on his body, he can poison others with a scratch, bite, or by being punctured with the spines.
Anything else you'd like to add: He's very young, and his youth and personality often lead to rash decisions and mistakes. He sometimes has trouble controlling his temper, usually when something reminds him of home.
