Question I liked my life runes pastel like but in my stables it shows up like how you changed it but when I go to the pet profile it goes back to the old. I would prefer it to stay like pastel but if it has to change that would be fine too.

With the extra 30 to base mana, does this mean that these pets will have the highest mana available for their species??

If a regular Puff has 80, adding 30 to it would give it 110 max mana, while exclusives generally only have 100 max.

With the Ny'vene, 100 is base mana for a regular pet, 120 is max for an exclusive. Does that mean adding 30 to the regular shop pets would make theirs 130?

>__> If that's the case, I'm going to have to put some extra work into my stats projects to get the max mana on the Ny's again.

That is correct. And the MegaZone will also offer higher base stat pets as well.

It is intentional.

"I'm going to have to put some extra work.."

We are trying to add some more things to do to the game for breeders and - when the time comes to explore the MegaZone - it will be of use to both explorers and those who sell pets to them. =)

That is just a caching issue. They aren't changing as you go from one image to the other.

If you're still seeing the old, just use a hard refresh to reload the new image. (Shift + F5)... on a Mac I think it's the Mac key + F5? Or R? Or something.

That sounds incredible!!

And I hope the additions might include a philter to add more base mana to a pet when it hatches??

I got to experience first-hand how hard it is to build up the base mana stat since the Blue Lotus Aeridini had a mix of 120 and 100 base mana for the theme... I didn't notice until midway through and had to fight through about five generations of pets just to raise up a few mana points on the offspring for some of the traits. Some as low as needing three points, the farthest gap was nine points, and it still took about four or so months to correct the mana for everything.

The other stats were easy - prismatic philters when needed/available, break the egg for health boost, let it hatch for a stat boost, call in for some extra nurtures - but the only way to raise the mana for the trait was to 'breed up' with one parent of maxed mana, and the other that had the trait I needed to boost. And even then, sometimes the points didn't go up at all... Getting from 119 mana to 120 mana seemed to be the hardest part for most of the traits, with soooooo many failed 119 mana results.

So while you're all working on the new additions, maybe keep that in mind? Base mana is the hardest stat to raise. With that stat reaching an all-new cap, mana philters would be wonderful. >.>

But it wouldn't be as fun and as big of an achievement if everything were easy! =D

I had a feeling you'd say that; couldn't hurt to ask though, right? :P

*takes moment to strategize*

I guess I'll just have to track down one with the new maxed mana and dye it to one of the project's colors, then spend another 6 months to a year between breeding the project back to 6-vis, and re-maxing the mana for all of the traits again... And I'm still not done building up the stats for all of the new post-revamp Ny'vene traits. x___x;

And that's only for one of the project colorschemes; rebuilding the mana on the rest would likely take another 6 or so months on each...

*plops head on desk in despair at the thought*

Are you sure that we can't get that mana philter? Even if it's only a guaranteed one mana point it'd still take ten generations minimum to complete, and since it takes pets almost a month to reach adulthood, that's almost a year's worth of constantly working towards progress. >.>

If not I may just have to sacrifice some of my Maxed Stats Ny'vene projects and only "re-max" one or two colorschemes... Or get *does some math* 1,800 or so pet dyes and dye them all back after getting enough that are "re-maxed." And that's only enough dyes to cover my favorites. x___x;

(Maybe I'm just too ambitious? >_>)

Edit: .__.; I didn't even consider the Maxed Stats Aeridini. For Fabled Themes that only show up during certain seasons, will they have a new cap for Max Mana as well since they won't be available in the Mega-zone? Or will they also show up there during their seasonal festivals?
