Typical summer weather? Thunderstorm every afternoon. Good stuff. Dark clouds with some slightly lighter sections, grey mist of the rainfall (sometimes with a couple of rainbows, if it's in the proper direction from me), and those bright white lightning strikes.

(the actual photo used to design her was wallpaper size and thus too large to use here, so this one will have to do, as it's just as good, just without the red 'Epcot' sign and Mickey's arm and wand)
Nighttime Epcot Ball Lighira, because when I was growing up in Florida "Summer" meant Disney park hopping, and the trip was never complete unless we went to Epcot and got to see the Epcot Ball. It is most beautiful at night, which is what I baised this coloring from. I used both of the Ocelot markings to simulate the ridges and the flaming wings to simulate the lights shining onto the ball. This is my first time trying something like this, but hey, the trip down memory lane was well worth the effort. ^^

When I think of summer, the first thing in my mind is watching sunset at a beach. So I took one of my own photos for a prototype. Not really alike, but sure was fun to make.

After the pineapple popsicle, I know they are all year around but when you are outside and it is so hot they are always a great treat.

Seen as it's the last week of Wimbledon, I thought it would be appropriate to base my Lighera on Wimbledon's favourite summer dessert...

Eton Mess:

(Ahh BBC... you just had to make it look pretty. If I took a photo of my own eton mess, well... it's heaven to your tastebuds, but I can't say it's all that aesthetically pleasing)

Deinonychus, Ember Runes and White Peacock Wing.

Summer? Summer equals swimming pool so here's a swimming pool pet and an overly fancy picture of a swimming pool to go with it.
