Haha okay x3, and still jealous of how good your sketches are! I prefer animals to human sketches but I am trying to get out there a little more. n-n

@Amphidite, There are plenty of things wrong with them that I'm certain I'll see a couple of months from now when I look back at them. xD That's how it always goes. Practice makes perfect~ just gotta work at is as you go. :)

Okay a few wips of thorn here~

Barfed on some quick flat colors~ xD
Hydrangea colors were suggested for him, considering the stick things sticking out of his hair that actually worked well. :)

The colors suit him well! I love the incorporated flower-petals in the wings! And I know what you mean. Anatomy isn't my strong suit either so I'm constantly looking at the mistakes and inwardly weeping xD

I Just finished a piece for valentines. Was from a little sketch I did during classes and wound up finishing it digitally. Tried practicing coloring and I'm getting better but it still makes me cringe when I color.

Started like this:

Got to this:

Finished version:

First time I've ever erased the lines. Was a neat little experiment . ^^"

I always look at updates from work and then forget to respond in a timely manner. T_T

Thorn is all about flowers and petals are going to be a repeating part of his design~ :) Anatomy issue wise, I attempt to fix them when I notice, usually after flipping the image around to see if anything stands out oddly.

You've done a wonderful job on your wolf~! I think erasing the lines was a great move with your coloring style. I've actually discovered myself a little while back that I prefer eventually working out the lines when I'm painting. I love my lines, but they never look good with color. TwT I tend to make them almost invisible and repaint color in on a new multiply layer. It usually ends up looking much more polished afterwards.

Thanks! Though that was the first time I've ever tried going about coloring that way. Ended up erasing parts of what was underneath the line and blending others. And Thorn has such a pretty face! I really love his expression and the way you flesh him out.

Now I hadn't gotten to draw much lately no thanks to being sick, but the other day I did get to do a small photo-manipulation, as I didn't like the first one I had done of the character. (And as you will sooner or later find out I loveee my wolves.)

This is the complicated mess I put myself in oops

My first go at her (had to make one for the rp she is in)

And then I did this. Was too lazy to make her blend in with the background, that's just there to be there. xD

I was more focused on my valentine submission then with sketching/painting this week, so here's my Valentine submission. Still counts as art. xD

Sculptey crafted entertwined Aeridini's mounted on a hand painted wooden heart plaque in a floral arrangement~ =w= T'was fun but time consuming.
