Hmm...That's what I currently see in both World map and Sanctuaries (Including human and faries one).

Is that even normal?

@Joelou1,

Our maps are just simple .png files. That looks like an issue with your PC.

You should try and make sure your Video Card Driver is up to date.

I will toggle on the Cloudflare setting that lets you clear your Cache. So you can try doing a hard refresh on the pages you're having issues with and see if it works.

Other than that, I have no idea.

My graphic card IS up to date (I built myself THAT computer...)
I think there is just a fail somewhere in the picture itself... I shall try hard refresh by clearing cache

EDIT: On Google Chrome, The map is fine...

I've experienced something "similar" on Prof Pages :
(The background image is just... messing up as weirdly
as this)

Has anyone else had this issue? Please post if you have.

I have no idea what would cause it or how to fix it.

It's maybe related to the pictures, or at least on their
loading, I once had seem a few "lags" like these, but
normally a refresh would made it go away, so I though
it could have been my computer, but if my boyfriend
experience it, there's maybe a problem, his computer
is kind of brand new... o.e"

I hope we can find the source, at least the Prof Page
is still easy to use, just weird with all those "lagged
images" in the background thou... o.e"
My boyfriend said he could still access the "map", but
only by knowing where they were situated on it...

My theory is that Internet explorer 9 have issues with some picture of yours... If they are jpegs, they're not supposed to have invisible pixels...(As Jpeg doesn't support Alpha filter)

In any cases, it's working fine on google chrome... that's how weird it is...

PS: Hard refresh was a fail...Maybe it's temporary...

Ah... Yea, I wouldn't recommend using IE for our Site. IE has lots of issues and doesn't even support most CSS3. I hate IE. It makes coding a nightmare sometimes.

There isn't much I can do at this point other than change the background images to JPEGs rather than use PNGs. Some of which, I've already started doing to reduce their byte size.

So if you wouldn't mind, using Chrome or Firefox would probably be the best solution for now.

Oh I just HATE to have to use Chrome, I have installed it
only for EMERGENCY use... like when I'm OBLIGATED to,
if I have to really use it all the time to enjoy Sylestia, it's
going to be a pain, I hate how it's made~ P=
Been working with IE since I'm born, not changing
unless it doesn't exist anymore~ =P
And you can't expect young ones to be able to know
they have to download it... plus the parents that never
want their kid to download anything~ P=

Well, *sigh*, everyone wants to convert to Chrome it
seems... -.-"
Will have to get used to that... thing... >w>"
