I really miss being able to actually browse entries rather than having to click through several pages of people needlessly saving a spot, often for many to not be used anyway, when we know the admins are meticulous in making sure everyone's entries are viewed. Newbies come in, see a flood of reserved posts and assume they need to reserve and it just gets worse. Please can we go back to only allowing posts that are questions/entries so browsing entries and the creativity of the players on the site can be an enjoyable experience again. I feel this is a small change that has made a big impact when people give up on trying to look at entries by the 3rd page of "reserved" posts with no actual entries in sight.

I would agree, as a newer player. It adds a lot of clutter, and must make it difficult to go through as the admins. It also makes it more difficult for people to look through and see what has been done so as not to come too close with everyone reserving.

I totally agree with this. I love looking through entries, even early on when just a few people have finished, but now all I'm seeing are posts that are reserving spots. Don't see why that's necessary and I loved when that was against the rules. Hoping it can go back to that so it's easier to view entries.

This seriously bothers me. Most people do not come back and enter, ever. There is also absolutely no benefit to being earlier in the thread on these contests. All you are doing is making clutter other people have to skip over, including the admins.

Huge support from me.

Really dislike this change when there are gorgeous, gorgeous entries already up and hidden behind mountains of people who are reserving for no discernible reason! If anything it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable that we might have started this culture of a need to be "first" on the site.

I do have to agree. Reserving posts should only be used about once or twice. But now it has become too much. Once another user sees a thread with reserved on it, they wanna mark up a thread using reserved as a post as well. I mean, users are not being leaders they are being followers! Plus I do like looking at entries, the only issue is the reserved post. What for? People do not need to reserve anything because it should be a free thread. Being first doesn't matter at all. That's the whole point. Posting shouldn't be about making spots for one person to place their entry first then allow the rest of the users to do so afterward. That's stupid. Why would you do that? Reserved posts should be added to the rules and should be deleted, plus the user should receive a warning from the admins about it because it's wrong and it doesn't make any sense.

Ok, the warning part might be a little far, but the reserved posts needs to stop. All it does is take up space. Like really? Do we need to see a whole mess of spam made by the author when we can just look at what people said/posted? This isn't a prisoned place you know. Threads should be free to post on, not cluttered in mess like this.

I agree, It makes a lot of unnecessary clutter on contests, and there is (usually) no point in reserving anyway!

i agree, but i don't agree. You might have started a thread and then you were going to type something really long right after the first post, but then it would take lots of time and would get buried beneath so many posts that no one could find it. Most ppl just look at the first page of a thread.
