Damen smashed his hands into the tree viciously because of all the sadness and anger he had bottled up. He then let out another call and Angel's ears perked up.

Emalf ran towards the commotion to see Damen scratching the tree and catching the light of Amber's eye.

Amber was in another tree, thankfully, and scaled down it and curled up in the brush.

Damen collapsed and cried. He didn't notice Emalf.

Emalf ran past Damen and to Amber. He picked her up and looked at her tail, and gasped. The bee stinger was still stuck in, and a huge bump formed around the sting.

Afrilla's eyes fluttered, and she fainted.

Damen then saw Emalf. He was reminded of Tulip and cried out.

Emalf jumped back, petrified. Who was this? He saw a hyena that looked like him, but never this one.

Tulip's cry split the air, a long, mournful wail.

Atur stood by Tulip, sobbing as he held the stillborn child. He fell onto his knees, tears streaming from his face. Tulip was also crying.

Emalf raced home, Amber still in his arms.

Amber was still asleep, but her face was in a cringe, as if having a nightmare.

Damen heard Tulips cry and runs towards the sound
