Oh dear...

I have no support for this idea. I think it's great for people to dye their themes: the pet will still have the tag on it regardless.

There are also some theme names I look at, and then I look at the colours, and then I think: 'wow! I really like that theme/exclusive name, but the colours don't seem to quite match what I had in mind' (no offense to the designers). I think people should be able to use their imagination in that way without having those restrictions imposed on them. Plus, some people don't like breeding their pets, but they like collecting exclusives, regardless. They should be allowed to use their hard earned 3 vis however they like.

Officially, we have always supported the stance that players have the right to do whatever they want with the pets that they own (within the boundaries of the game, of course).

I think, as it is, marking any Themed Pet as having been dyed is a great middle ground and I don't really see what the harm is if BobSylestia wants to dye HIS Themed Pets. Don't like them? Don't buy and/or breed with them. Either he won't care and will keep doing it anyway and having fun doing what he enjoys - or he'll stop because he'll want to earn more Gold in the player driven economy.

I think the only thing we'd do to take this a step further is to have a 'reset' philter that resets all of the colors of a Themed Pet back to its original Themed Colors. This feature kinda already exists and we used it for the Patriotic Pets. I think making this into a buyable item would be a great next step down the road.

Yes please on the reset philter, Krin!!!! This would also be GREAT for the unfortunate themed pets who have 'invisible traits' from the color skews! (Like my Ryori mentioned here. >.> )

support even tho i never really liked this themed zolnixi my sister gave me when it was a baby i love it now and if i ever sold it the new owner dying it would really make me mad same gos for if flora was a themed dying her would make me madder then mad since i tried hard to catch her same goes for my almost purebred lighra that linega says she's almost purebred even tho she is a offspring from a themed

they should but you should not dye themed pets would you dye woodie
