The scientist carried the winged girl to the front of the lab and dumped her in a holding cell while he went to find her scientist. The others slipped back into their rooms quietly.

She was barely conscious when she was thrown on the floor with a loud thump.She winced and fell to her side.She opened her eyes a little to see a steel-walled room surrounding her.Her eyes opened wider with panic and she stood up, wobbling."w-wh-whereisami...." She mumbled,her words slurred.Dried blood on her forehead from when she had hit the ground suddenly started dripping again.'escape..'
The words kept playing over in her head.She slowly walked over to the door,her wings drooping on the floor,one at an awkward and painful angle.She looked out the small window to see someone looking back at her.Her tattered T-shirt was suddenly yanked into a shred and she placed the tattered cloth on her bleeding head.She slowly walked,crying,in circles around the room."h-he-helpmehelpmepppleasegetmmeoout..." She said louder and louder."GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!" She suddenly scream and rammed up against the door.

"Oh thank goodness" Aydan said as he saw sprinted over to the office that the scientist was calling to him from and saw Lacey in the room behind her. He pushed past the scientist to make sure that the girl was alright and let out a sigh of relief when he saw that she was. "did you see another girl when you found her?" He asked the scientist. "One with black wings?"

"That one is yours too?" She asked, re-filling her tranquilizer. "She pulled a knife on me. You really shouldn't give weapons to eh-patients. She probably got dropped off at the lost n found."

"Well, I'm technically not responsible for either of them. The only experiment I'm in charge of is myself. Anyway, I wouldn't let her have those knives if it were up to me." Aydan replied. "So where is this lost and found anyway?"

"All the way in the front." She said, gesturing vaguely with her hand. "Big door on the left. I'm pretty sure it says "experiment pickup" or something like that." She shrugged.

"Thanks" He said, as he began to run off, but then he stopped before he reached the door. "Wait, two things first. One, what happened to Lacey? Why is she unconscious" He gestured towards the scaly girl in his arms. "Two, remember that experiment who my son was trying to talk to? You're in charge of them, correct? Well, somehow they got out of their room. They seem terrified, so you should probably go find them and help them".

"what am I doing..." She sighed,crying."hhhelpmme.." she looked at the top of her cell.She stopped crying and looked at the door."come on,think.Think,think!" She yelled to herself.She looked at the air vent in the ceiling."I got it!" She yelled and walked over to stand directly below the vent."I can do it,I can make it..." She whispered to herself.Suddenly with a burst of air she flew to the top and grabbed the vent.'they didn't put much thought into this did they..' she thought as she grabbed the thin aluminum bars and pulled hard.As they gave way,she fell and slammed into the ground below,making her dizzy.she slowly stood up and walked back,then with a burst of air she made it to the vent."Yes!" She shouted and climbed inside."OK,go through with the plan.You can do it..." She repeated as she waited for someone to walk in.

"1201's out?! Oh s-ok I'll get them." She wiped her forehead. "I'm guessing they're being watched by someone? Right?" She exhaled deeply. "As for your, uh, Lacey. She was sneaking around in the hallway. I had to catch her before she did any damage. She was making a lot of noise." She said. "I'm gonna go and get 1201." She started walking quickly down the hallway in her socks.

"That's weird, she doesn't tend to make a lot of noise" Aydan said to himself quietly, before sprinting off towards the front of the lab. When he came across the door that the scientist had described, he knocked on it awkwardly, not knowing quite how it worked. did people work here and make sure that the scientists were actually in charge of the experiments? Did they just put random experiments in there? He shrugged. He'd figure out in a second anyway.
