Well, uh, I really wanted to make another rp, so yeah. Here it goes.
You are either a scientist or experiment who works or lives in a lab (You can be both). The lab operates on very loose rules, so while some scientists are kind and work with the experiments, some are complete jerks and may even kidnap people for their experiments. Fill out the form before to get started.

This roleplay, like the lab, is open for whatever, if that even makes sense. You follow normal rp rules, but with the actual story of the rp, you can make it whatever you want. Nothing is written. I wanted to make an rp, but I didn't have any good ideas, only the loosest notion of what I wanted. This is what I ended up doing. I hope you decide to join it and enjoy it.)

Scientist, experiment, or both: Definitely an experiment

Appearance (picture or description): I'm going to try and explain this as best as possible. Imagine a person. Not tall, but not short. Dark skin and black hair. Their hair is short, a result of hap-hazard shaving. Large white ears protrude from their skull and the skin around them is raised and almost puffy, although around the ears is sort of covered by the short black hair on the person's head. Scars and neat stiches crisscross around their arms and near the base of the head. Thick dark lines are stained around their wrists and feet. They have some wires hooked up from their head into their back. Their eyes are a dull shade of a once-pretty olive. A small stubby white tail is attached to their tailbone, yet still protrudes from their skin.

Personality: Really unknown. Reacts well to other subjects?

Family: Their father admitted them to the facility in return for money. Their only connection to sentient life is the few experiments that share a chamber with them for a little bit, for reasons 1201 is unsure of. They also are connected to their experimentor (character sheet posted below).

Anything else: The experiment being conducted is "Can we turn a human into an animal?". The scientists are mutating 1201's DNA so that they will grow animal parts. Tubes connecting to their brain keep them relaxed and silent. When they originally came into the facility, they were extremely aggressive. 1201 doesn't speak or do much. They respond to tests like "can 1201 pick up this apple?" and "does 1201 react well to other experiments?", but other than that, they stare blankly into the distance.1201 does not speak, unless you count growls and the occasional bark as speech.

(1201 lives in the very back of the facility, where the real bad experiments are conducted).

Name: Professor Veronica "Nico" Harley

Age: Young-ish? Like 20?

Gender: F

Scientist, experiment, or both: Scientist

Appearance (picture or description): Hispanic with bleached hair. Her head is nicely half-shaven, one side is long, going down to about mid-chest level. The other side is short, about two inches long having grown in. She has green and purple highlights, which look better than they sound. She wears long sleeves under her labcoats. She does not like showing much skin.

Personality: Sweet-ish. She's not sugar, more like a white grape. She keeps her experiments to herself, and is very protective of them and her own procedures. She is currently working on 3 subjects. 1201, 1202, and 1203. (I don't know if I'll do anything with the other two. If i get spare time I'll write them short bios). She genuinely cares about her subjects and keeps their health at a top priority, one of the reasons she hasn't been fired.

Family: Her sister and her sister's boyfriend are her closest family, although she has abandonment issues and doesnt like her sister's boyfriend a lot.

Anything else: Extremely interested in her experiments, but doesn't speak much about them. Many scientists do not like her because of the nature of said experiments. She does talk to the other "bad" scientists in the back and they discuss the progress of the experiments because they're usually equally horrible and don't get judged by one another.

Mini-bios of the other two:

1202. Also known as 10 or 1. Confirmed male and older than 13. 1202's face has been horrifically disfigured, disabling him from speaking. He wears an oxygen mask pumping air directly into his lungs. Large, yet patchy wings protrude from his back. His professor has ceased the alteration of his genes and is waiting for his wings to grow more feathers. 1202 has not spoken since his first month, when the experiments really kicked off. He has blond hair which was originally bleached white when admitted to the lab. 1202 is Nico's least favorite.

1203. Also known as 9 or 2. Confirmed female and older than 13. 1203 is Nico's favorite because she was the first experiment be given to her. She adores 1203 and gave her the nickname of "Lilac" due to the pale violet hue that she engineered into her DNA. She speaks to Lilac regularly. Lilac seldom replies. Nico has succeeded in giving Lilac two white cat ears and a tail. Lilac is injected with a sedative every few hours and she's nearly addicted to the stuff.
Lilac also has a tendency to cough up disgusting black stuff and scream loudly with little to no warning when off sedatives.

Age: around 10 based on intellect and personality, but probably closer to 8.

Appearance (picture or description): Skin is patchy and blistered like a peeling sunburn, and has splashes of dark green scales here and there. Hair is waist length, black in color. Her eyes are wide and frightened, but also look broken, in a way. Her left eye is a mostly brown Hazel and her right one is an extremely pale green. She has claw like fingernails and sharp teeth. Her ears are slightly pointed and covered in a patchy black fuzz. She has a long tail that is reptilian in shape and covered in a strange mixture of scales and black fur. Personality: Extremely hostile, but also very frightened. Will huddle in a corner whenever someone comes into her room, but will attack them viciously if they come within three feet of her.
Family: None
Anything else: She used to be in the section of the lab where the horrendous experiments took place, but then the person who was experimenting on her got put in jail for his experiments (namely the means used to obtain materials for them), which went beyond the labs usually extremely high tolerance level, and she was brought towards the front of the lab. That was only a few days before the roleplay takes place, so she's still a bit of a mystery.

Appearance (picture or description): Angela is a hybrid between a bird and a human. She has the ability to read minds, has very enhanced eyesight, and she can fly with her wings that comes from her being 2% avian DNA. So she is 2% avian and 98% human. Her wings are 6 feet in length. Angela's wings are white hence the name Angela or Angel. She wears black jeans and a white t-shirt. Angela's hair is brown and long.
Personality: Angela is a shy, frightened and nervous individual. She never likes the scientists. Angela has a little sister named Seraphine.
Family: Sister Seraphine and her friend called Tiger
Anything else: Angela is a tough fighter. Her sister was never seen again one day.

Personality: Tiger hates the scientists. His fur is white and he is 50% tiger and 50% human. But he mainly takes the form of a tiger. Tiger is strong, kind, fast and protective

Name: Doctor Ase (pronounced Ace)
Age: 28 years old
Gender: female
Scientist, experiment, or both: both. She is a scientist that experimented on herself which lead to her cat like appearance
Appearance (picture or description):

Personality: Ase is a playful beings that loves to travel and learn the arts of science, mainly how the body reacts to stimuli. She is wise and loving of all, though she doesn't show it when face to face with the higher ranking doctors. Life is meant to be lived happily in her eyes.
Family: none that she knows of. She was given to an orphanage at a young age, her parents having no money to care for her. Someday she wishes to track them down and find them.
Anything else: She has a crush on the experiment #1165, he is her's to look after and for that she has fallen in love with him.


Name: #1165, or Marcurio by his personal name
Age: 32 years old
Gender: male
Scientist, experiment, or both: experiment, he is being tested on the use of a new gene being added on to the human DNA strand. He is not the first on his kind, thus he is the first actual susses story. Marcurio now is able to summon a flame to his palm or finger tip. Though it is not a big flame it is still not natural.
Appearance (picture or description):

Personality: Marcurio is a bit stuck up at times and takes pride in what he knows as far as "magic" as he likes to call it. He can be a bit sassy at times and even a bit of a butt at others, though he is nice guy to be around.
Family: probably off somewhere getting drunk or in prison
Anything else: Out of all the doctors, Doctor Ase is his favorite. She understands him more than any of the others and is actually nice to him. You may even say that he had a small crush on her.
