Downtime Begins: 11/5 at 1AM
Downtime Length: 1-2 Hours?
As I'm sure almost all of you have experienced by now, our server is having a lot of internal issues (500 Error Pages) randomly displaying nonstop.
Our Host and I spent literally all of yesterday trying to figure out a solution. While we narrowed down the service that is responsible, we couldn't figure out the actual cause.
Starting at 1am tonight, the people who write the server code will be investigating our server to try and troubleshoot the issue. So Sylestia will be down starting at 1am. I honestly have no idea how long this will take, so I am just saying 1-2 hours and will keep everyone up to date via the Maintenance page throughout the downtime.
I do apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can get this resolved soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Just wondering does that mean that the mojo contest for the nixi be delayed in the event that the site is still down at 4am tomorrow morning? That would also mean that brew pets and the like wouldn't advance while the site is down correct?
Is there any possibility that the fest may be extended due to the technical issues that we have been experiencing that are hopefully going to be resolved after some probing?

Unless the downtime extends really far into the morning, I don't plan on adjusting the Zolnixi contest.
And yes, most likely the Festival will be extended through the 20th.

Bummed about the server stuff and lag is so lame, but WOOHOO! I love it when the festival gets extended <3 <3 <3
