Emont

Emont bowed his head. "No not at all." Emont frowned. "I am okay. You should go." He felt like his heart was wrenched but he knew he couldn't or at least shouldn't be thinking of a wife yet. Not until he was ready. Yet he wasn't ready and his parents understood that. Even himself should have known that. He stood up and went outside. The knights saw but were careful seeing the look on Emont's face. Two of the knights lead Emont down to the village where he saw the villagers look at him in awe and hope. He smiled and went to the pub. He got a tiny bit of beer to drink and he sat down. Emont drank the beer and he looked at the bar tender. He pushed money towards him and then stood up.

Zarune~ 29 years old~ RG

"But even the most loyal of dogs, if mistreated will not hold to their loyalty without biting the hand that once gave them kindness and love. This said dog would be the god in question, whoms worshipers mistreated the blessings he gave them and for that they got bit, quiet literally in this case. To him they were followers no more than I am to him. My faith lies with Finn, and Finn alone though I do not question the existence of any of the god or goddess. These mountain men, whom had looked to their god for guidance were misguided in their journey and paid for that with their lives." The priest said with a smile at the boy. They were so much alike, he and the boy, thinking nearly the same about the situation at hand. Most of the time he did feel like a cow, or even a s-sheep though he hated to think that. He was just to follow the word of the gods, or his master, without question or his own thoughts. He on the other hand was the one that knew what was going on, they would soon all be lead to slaughter so he sought a means to escape. Maybe this was the means he had been looking for, though much like the men in the story he had let his faith stray. Would he as well be struck down for his actions?

Arcadius~ 26 years old~ DC

He must have dozed off, his eyes suddenly feeling much heavier than they had before. The man let his head lull forward onto his chest as he let the long needed sleep take hold of him. At first there was nothing but then he could see himself standing over the sleeping woman as she lay on the ground next to the fire as she had been when he had first came up. She was so peaceful though part of him was pushing that thought back farther and father into the back of his mind. She was his target and he could not see past that fact it was his job to see her blood fed his blade. With a steady hand the knife at his side was lifted from the bounds of leather that held it in place on his hip. It had long since forgotten the sweet taste of the blood that flowed in a man's veins but never before had it had that of a woman's. Would it be sweeter, or a bit more on the bitter side? Did it really matter? No.... Arcadius gave a twisted smile as he took a step closer to the woman whom had trusted him, had turned her back to his as he was simply a slave, what possibly could he do? Oh how she had been wrong to think that. A surprisingly soft hand touched her cheek, moving a strand of hair from it. She was a beautiful woman, too bad it was not to last. Would she still be pretty once the birds got to her? When her eye sockets were bare, cleaned out by the raven that she had befriended? The blade flashed in his hand as he raised it up above his head both hands on its palmel. "Do not fear that which will find it's way to everyone, for when you die no one will even remember your name." He whispered before plunging the knife deep into her breast. There was a sick splatting sound as it hit her heart before he pulled the blade free allowing the life essence of her body flow out in waves to feed the ground. It was done....

The man woke with a gasp having nearly fell over in his sleep. It- the dream had felt so real...could he really bring himself to do that? She was asleep after all....

Cullyn of the Sapling ~~ Crown Prince ~~ 5 ~~ Currently in RG
He was quiet as his teacher spoke to him. The two brightblue eyes that looked up from under the golden bangs had a serious look to them. Once the man went silent he gave his forehead a few wrinkles as he thought about what had been said. "So the reason for the god to smite and murder its followers and servants is that they do not act compleatly as he wishes? How would that be diffrent from me or father hanging someone for simply doing something we do not like?" he asked in a genuininly curiously tone. He wasnt sure about the diffrences about those scenarious but there is probably something he missed. But as it stood now he could not tell what the diffrence was. It just kinda seemed as if he would scream `HANG HIM!` everytme someone anoyed him. But he knew, mostly thanks to Molly, that he could not do so. That a prince, and a king, is to see behind their own intrests. That their job is to see what others do not and act upon it. He remember hearing the tales of kings and princes as well as queens and princesses of old, how they all acted on what was best for Enlil and its people rather than their own whim. The thought of having to act in a manner to honor his ancestors, in a way befitting of the heir to the worlds largest empire, beeing the the future sole commander of the largest army to walk the earth. It ... It is just a lot to bear. His way of handling it to listen a lot and ask even more. He tries to act the part but he is in the end only five years old. And at times that will shine through. Be it by ignorance or an unability to focus and sit still. And at other times he just wants to play. But most of the time this young boy tries to act as he should. He tried to behave as it is expected of him. But its hard. Most adults would crack under the pressure, and here is a young child doing his best to coop with it while struggling to get the information and knowledge he needs to do his job to the fullest.

She moved around in her sleep, to rest on her injured arm but as she did she gave up a painfull sound before laying on the healthy side again. Her body had tensed upas she had rested on the side for a moment so once she was resting on the healthy side again she slowly relaxed, her face softening even further.

She feelt how the man helped her stabbing the girl in the most woulnerble parts of the body. Throat, neck, eyes and heart. As the girl just a few years younger than herself slowly died from the injuries she stared into what could be called thin air. But she was not. It was the first time she saw it, the lifestring of a living beeing. The white string above the girl slowly fading into nothing. So small ... so delicate ... so frail.

She nodded while saying "Yes my lord". With that she gave him a curtsey and walked out before rushing to the laundry room. She was late now since she had been sent to serve the lord so she would probably have to loose a bit of sleep later on today or skip lunch. Oh joy ... "Laura, get your laundry into the mess" the laundrymaster growled at her and quickly the girl grabbed whatshe had rushing away.

Emont

He was allowed to get on his horse for only a little bit. When he got off he was escorted to his room and was told to stay in his room for the rest of the day. Emont grumbled but stayed in his room. He sat down at his desk and he sighed. He got out a journal and started to write. He wrote and wrote until he had nothing else to write. Emont stood up and he went to his bed for a bit of rest. Yet however hard he tried to fall asleep he failed each time. He wondered What was Aris up to? Emont went back to his desk and sat down pondering.

Aris

He had heard rumors about how badly Emont's health was but he thought it couldn't have been true. He dismissed his thoughts and went down to go ride on his baby stallion that had been given to him. It would grow up and be his mighty battle stallion when it was an adult. Aris got onto his stallion and rode around the castle. His guards were on their stallions and followed him. Soon Aris was tired of riding his horse and dismissed the guards. He went inside and to his secret place. He waited for the bird and after a while it arrived with a new message. Aris took off the tiny scroll from the bird's foot. He put up the bird in it's cage and he set down at his desk and read the note.

"The difference is simply that he is a god and can see as to were you and your father can only see a person's actions as right and wrong. A god can see what a person thinks, how much they believe, what they believe. It's simply this fact that makes it right." The priest answered taking a risky action in taking the small boy's hand in his own. "Now lets try to get back to the lesson. I promise that if this doesn't answer your questions then I will answer them to the best of my knowledge afterwards alright?" Zarune waited for no reply as he cupped the child's hand closing his own eyes. "Try closing your eyes to help you clear your thoughts. I'll help in what little way I can, but most of it will have to be done by you. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't work at first, even I have trouble clearing my thoughts sometimes." A sincere smile spread over his lips as his hands gave off a faint blueish glow. He liked that his own magic was this pale blue color as to were others was either a red as the fire they used, pale like the light, or as Molly's was frosty. It made his special that he was such a unique color. Maybe that the boys would be the same.

Arcadius~ 26 years old~ DC

It was nearly light, he needed to get the woman up so they could get going. A soft hand found it's way to her shoulder as he gently shook her to waking. "Miss Raven we need to get a move on, the sun is nearly up." He said lightly though he knew that was not what he wished to really to say to her. He removed his hand and used it to stroke his stubble of a beard. "I know miss that you most likely wont hear this but I can't rest till I have told a living soul as myself." He started before taking a breath. "The clan, they never sent me here to fetch you, though I wish greatly that that was the case. To my disapproval though it's not." He fell silent thinking of how to put the next part. " They wish for me to prove myself to them, to prove I still hold my loyalty to them. The task I was given though is one that I can not see through. They-they wanted me to k-kill you." The last word cut into the air causing him to stumble over it's dreaded letters. Arcadius held his head in shame not wanting t have to do that to what seemed like the woman of his dreams.

The young child looked up at the priest as he spoke. He wrinkled his forehead a bit as he was thinking about what he was told. Well it kinda makes sense to be honest. Its true that he and father cant see in peoples minds and hearts. They can only judge a action and compare it to what the laws tells. The laws however ... can ... be a tad strict in his opinion but they are the laws and is to be obayed at all times. Once the answer ended he was to ask a second question but was quickly told to stop thinking of it. "Il try ...." he said in a thoughtfull tone. As he looked at his hand that rested in Zarunes hand he almost fell out of the chair as the mans hand caught on fire. A while he looked at the blue flames that surounded both Zarunes and his self, yet it didnt burn. All he feelt was a soft, gentle warmth that caressed his hand. Fascinated by the fire he stared at it a while before closing his eyes. Slowly the child took two deep breaths to calm down, and cleans his mind.

He could clearly see all the thoughts infront of him. Some about his mother, some about molly, some about father, his future and the lesson he had just been given. But slowly he left the thoughts one at the time. The first thought that left his mind was those about his father. That man was often on his mind, rarly in a good way but yet often on the boys mind. However the young prince easly drops the thoughts about the king. However the thoughts about his mother, who she was, how she looked, How they could have had it was a lot harder to let go of, but slowly they faded into darkness. His worries about Molly lingerd a loong time but slowly they disolved into nothing. And left was the thoughts about his future. Those was by far the hardest to cleanse from his mind. How would he be as older? Would he grow to be older or be killed before? If he did manage to becom older would he have to lead others into battle? Would he have to lead others into battle? If he did, how many of them would die or be harmed due to incompetence from his side? Or just pure bad luck? Would he make a god mad enough at him to doom the entire nation? Every child, woman, man, elder and animal ... would he doom them all or help them survive? As the thoughts finally left his mind, leaving the childs head empty of thoughts the child relaxed a lot, his hand resting heavier in the teachers. Infront of the child was nothing but empty darkness. He didnt even register any sound, any shiftings in light. All he noticed, was silence and relaxation.

As she was shaken she gave up a tired sound, reluclantly opening her eyes into small springs that she looked at him through. As he begun to talk she raised an eyebrow a bit confused what is he talking about? She is awake so ofcorse she will hear him! How stupied can he be? As she heard the words leave his mouth she closed her eyes, shutting them hard before slowly sitting up, staring at the man with his head hanging. "So tell me why you do not obey your orders. Dont get me wrong, I in no way wish to die but in my line of work. As an assasin you have to be prepared to die, and be killed." she said calmly looking at him there she was sitting, the blanket that had potected her against the cold had fallen down into her lap resting gently. Right now she was more anoyed by the fact that they simply didnt took her out themselves but sent someone else. Fricking cowards. But as she would wake up more and more she would probably feel abandoned and cast aside as even her parents had agreed upon her death as it was the will of the clan. She didnt notice it, didnt register it at all but slowly a tears begun gathering in her eyes as the realisation that even her mother and father, those who are suposed to keep you safe no matter what agreed on her execution.

Aris

Little did he know that the foal had died and Aris cared little about that for he could always get a new one. He smiled at the letter and then laughed. How could he be so stupid........... he should have done this long ago. Aris started writing a bounty for his mysterious recipient. The bounty was for his brother Emont. Aris sent off the bounty and he went to his room. Happily he opened the door to his room and disappear like he usually did. But instead of coming out for supper like usual he stayed in his room for hours on end. The castle thought little of it. Aris finally came out at midnight and headed through the castle. He went out into the forest to meet his recipient of all his letters.

Zarune~ 29 years old~ RG

The room fell silent as they each ended up in their own little worlds. It was almost peaceful, that was if he had not been thinking himself. Not only was he holding the spell to aid the boy but he was also keeping his mind to try and figure out what type of magic the boy held. Then much as Molly's had it seemed to just seep from his hand. Magic of the mind, much like the spell he was using now. Zarune had only seen this type of magic in one other person and that was his teacher. He knew little to nothing about it, how was he to help the boy? This was going to be difficult, even more so than it would be to teach Molly! He had his work cut out for him that was for sure. With grace he pulled his hands away and sat in thought, his eyes closed and hands clasped tightly as he blocked out the world around him. How was he going to do this? He would have to read and learn it himself, he might as well be teaching a bull to built a fence to replace the one it had destroyed....

Arcadius~ 26 years old~ DC

His heart seemed to skip a beat as she sat up, he had truly thought she would have been sleeping still. Now she sat looking at him as he finished his statement. A hot rush reached the tips of his ears as he blushed slightly. With a slow motion he lowered his head, a grimace like expression covering his face. The feeling soon reached his cheeks as he closed his eyes tightly. "Legend says that is a man is to kill the first that strikes his heart then he is no longer seen as a man in the eyes of the gods. He is to be damned to Hell as a monster that he is." He stopped looking away even more so. "I care not what they do to me, but I dont intend to lose my manhood to kill the woman that makes my heart flutter to think about."

As his teacher pulled away his hand from underneaths the princes hand it fell down. Despite tha hand falling rather harshly into the childs lap he didnt notice it at all. The magic slowly wrapped itself around the boys hand, struggling and fighting its way up around the boys arm. Well it would have if it had been stronger. But for the moment a green/blue like shimmer wrapped itself all around the boys hand and fingers as well as his wrist, but there it stopped. The green/blue shimmer that wrapped itself around the boy pulsated a bit, shining vagely on and off as it ferociasly wanted to try and grow up even further along the arm. The small boy looked around in the emptiness that surrounded him. This was something he had never experienced before. The black and empty darkness around him slowly turned into a warm soft and gentle blue and green colour, leaving the boy smiling a bit. The feeling that came with the colour that surounded him in his mind was comforting and relaxing. This, this was something really intresting for him, something he would more than gladly experience again. As the child turned around, looking at the colourfull wonder infront of him. Slowly the child raised his arm feeling the colourfull sphear that had replaced the darkness surounding him in his mind and feelt as if something slowed him down. The closest feeling he had to describe it with was trying to run in water. The entire feeling and experience fascinated him massivly.

Agrona of the Raven ~~ Poisonmaker master ~~ 22 ~~ currently in: DC
Two cautious eyes looked at the man infront of her. Was ... was he blushing? That was rather an amuzing thing to see. With honest atention and curiousity In complete silence she looked at him before slowly closing her eyes. "Are you saying that you feel enough for me to take on the entire clan? And perhaps even more than so?" she said after some time looking up at him. What he is saying is pretty cocky and confident yet still kindhearted and honest. The words he had spoken wamed her heart massivly. She was given respect by the clan due to her imense knowledge of both poison and remedies. Yet there is no warmth between her and even her parents. There is even less warmth between her and the rest of the clan. However, if they are to run away not only will the clan hunt them down, but the king might deem them to be outlaws. This would make them fair kills for anyone who so wished to see them dead. The situation he more or less proposed to her was not something she wished for. However run and live or fight and die ... the option is clear and easy to choose between.

NPC for Sapphire

A person wrapped ina darkgreen cloak emerged from the shadows. "You are late" a scrowly manvoice could be heard. He have been waiting for a loong time and the one who have the job is a child? A mere child have somehow gotten ahold of him? He really needs to clean up in the ranks now. "Well then child, tell me what you want" he continued wihtout waiting for a answer. The man was almost 2heads taller than most men and almost as wide as 1.5men standing next to one a other giving of a scary impression on most, specially during a surrounding as this.

Aris

"You may think I am merely a child but no and I do want to pay you that money if you can kill Emont." Aris smiled wickedly. "So can we make our deal? If so I may put in a say for you." He laughed and then spinned his dagger on his finger. He frowned. Could this guy really think he was that powerful? No but Aris could try and show it. He then smiled and looked up into the Bounty hunter's eyes. This guy may be tall with Aris barely coming up to his waist but he knew this guy was quick and stealthy. That was why Aris had hired him. "Now what's your name?" Aris asked.
