I know its kind of delayed to ask this but you said that the pieces didn't fit on the scanner, have you tried cutting them down to size, and what i mean by that is use a ruler and a pencil and put the pencil at a point on the ruler and glide the ruler with the pencil all the way around the piece so you keeping the same length all the way around and when your done cut along the pencil marking. I thought of this last night and I thin it might work.
And what kind of fabric did you use
