She'll heard the faintest scraping noises with her keen ears she opened an eye drowsily and silently got up switching of almost all her bioluminescence except for the end of her tail, which seemed to flicker. She approached the strange dark object and held her tail up near it.

Knuckles froze for a moment to allow his eyes to adjust to the darkness. He continued, keeping to the shadowed foliage like some sort of predator. Seeing Shell going the same way he was, he curved off to the side, hoping to take the whatever-it-was by surprise.

She'll stalked the thing in the darkness she watched as it slowly approached the master emerald. Oh no you don't. She stalked quicker and to the side hoping to catch the shadowy object before it reached the master emerald unseen.

Knuckles was on the side opposite of Shell. He quickly burrowed underground and waited.

She blocked the creatures path with her self staring down at its blank expressioned face. She saw a cord whip out crackling with electricity. She realized her mistake and side stepped centimeters from a 'shocking' experience. "If that's how you want to go. So be it." She raised a talon and stood frozen inches from mercilessly clawing _____. (Have no idea what it is yet rawr)

Any second.... NOW! Knuckles emerged with a terrific uppercut. He landed on all fours, leapt to his feet, and rushed at the figures. He slammed into one at the side, and cold metal made his fur prickle. Either these things were robots or guys in armour. He whirled around to face another. "I don't know who you creeps are, but you definitely made a mistake coming here!" he growled. His left shoulder suddenly flared with pain. He glared at a figure behind him holding some kind of wire or something. "You will regret that," He snarled.

Shell choose that moment to decapitate the one holding the wire. She flinched as a combination of oil and metal fragments went everywhere. But the thing only seemed annoyed as its head popped back on and faced her. Oh sea horses.

Knuckles put a hand to his brow. "You have to hit them in their weak spot..." he said as if it were obvious. He whirled around on a robot who was coming in from behind. It was the last move that robot made.

Shell got the idea and grabbed a robot by the shoulders and hurled it into a tree where a hidden trap activated and the robot got a nice hot shower of acid.(rest in puddles robot)
