There's a 50% chance the offspring will show the trait, 100% chance it'll at least be carried.
Basically you need something from both parents to be visible. If the parent is visible, it'll definitely pass something down. If the parent is carried, there's a 50% chance it'll be passed down.

I'm pretty sure that now some pets are regenerable, that's also a way recruiting

So if one of my pets has visible neried jewelery and the other had carried, will i possibly get a visible neried jewelry?

Yes.
If one has visible neried jewellery, it's MM, while the carried pet will be NM.
So 50% chance of the baby having visible neried jewellery, 50% chance it'll carry it.

To breed two pets that you own, go to explore > breeding grounds. There, select the species, click update, and you should be able to find the eligible males and females from the dropdown list.
You can click test breed to see what potential offspring could look like, or click breed pets to breed. Your egg will then be added to your hatchery.
To breed with other player's pets, go to the pet's profile. You can find eligible pets for breeding through the breeding forum, or by using the advanced search. On the pet's profile, click view prices, choose the stable and pet you have, and click breed. The respective amount of gold will be deducted from your account, and the egg added to your hatchery.
Note that your pets have to be adults to breed. And they cannot share any same parent.

How do you get the gene points to generate a pet with special designs?

The amount of trait points you get for generation is dependent on the type of essence you have.
Regular essence give 2 trait points with color swing, enhanced essence give 4 trait points with less colour swing, mystical essence give 4 trait points with min colour swing.
You can buy all three from the diamond shop, or trade broker if other players are selling them. The regular and enhanced essences can also be found from battling, nurturing and missions, though rarely.

how do you hatch an egg i found 1 but it didnt hatch for 18 hours????
