So I was fighting Plague bringer, and was just DECIMATED by him. Does anybody know a way to avoid or remove that "Raging Plague" debuff/d.o.t.? Once that thing starts stacking up, I seen up to 800+ damage, from just ONE of the debuff/dot hits, not to include the several others that were on that SAME poor pet! >.<
The poor pet that had 7 stacks, was level 26, and took over 3k damage in just that debuff, in one round.

@Oogbar,

My build when fighting him was full tanker no DPS, all stat and proficiency goes to health. They beat him slowly, but none of them got their HP down to 50%. OuO

Hope this helps!

PS. Use level 50 pets! Don't use less than that! o:

I have tried all tanks and it is not working out at all for me. he ends up doing that one move that dose 10% Max hp in magic damage and gets healed 300% of the damage done as well as it staying for 3 turns. So end result he heals back to full and my pets are near dead

Same problem as above posters: Stacking the Plague, no clue when the Plague will hit nor how to avoid it, then the "heal for 300%" debuff and... my team is crawling away with theri tails tucked between their hinds while Plaguebringer is smirking at happy 30+% health.

Tried fighting him twice with different tactics. One is leaving spreading the damage out with all three, the other is leaving one of the pets in the middle for the duration and when it is down, the next takes its place.

The second tactic worked better as I was able to last until her second 300% damage to health heal. But this is only prolonging the inevitable...

I just beat Plaguebringer... I think it works better to have one dedicated tank with all lvl points and prof points in health. and two more geared towards damage. When Raging Plague stacks on your tank, it also gives them a damage boost, so if you save up your mana until you have 4 stacks of RP on you, it does a significant amount of damage. You need all the extra health to stay alive though. My tank died I think mostly because I didn't move her before that Health Transfusion bit... but she took down Plaguebringer's health enough that my other two were able to finish her off.

Edit: My tank does have a few of the stat points in agility though too... at 20% avoidance I was able to avoid Decay once! woot?

I was going to try that after they have healed up, thanks for confirming what I thought would be a better tactic.

I never realised it gives the Raging Plague gives them a damage boost as well. Thanks for telling me.

That's great! But 20% is still kind of low...if only it was possible to get 50%+ avoidance with tanks.

It IS possible to get more than 50%... but it takes a LOT of time, and if/when you do get 50% avoidance, it comes at the hefty cost of health. So the hits that do land, will hurt a lot!

I checked my mission pets and the one with 889 points in agility have less than 50% avoidance. I don't think she would classify as a tank since her health points are lower than my level 60 fighters.
