*hugs monitor* That hug was directed at you. It's okay. I don't have Asperger's but I've been called lots of things and done things I regret too. Just cause of what's going on in my not so normal brain.

So, since it's different from my problematic disorder (eep I don't like talking about it) do you take meds, or do you just have it?

It's an old thread, but I've never seen it before so...
I don't have asperger's (though it was suspected when I was younger that I could a mild form of it but it was during a bad part of my life and it was due to depression and a bad social phobia, it was later proved I don't have it), but I have a mild social anxiety (I'm trying to fight it and it's getting better as the time passes, but it had often led me to a depressive state), and I think I can understand you at least a little bit.
I have always the feeling people will think I'm crazy or weird every time I say or do something even if I'm a nice and friendly people inside, and sometimes overract and say thing I don't trully mean as a way to protect me, and say things that are harsher than what I think which is quite annoying, or simply avoid social situations that makes me uncomfortable...

I have never thought you were silly or weird, but all the time I've spoken with you or read your message I thought you were a nice and funny person, and I still think you are!!!!

It's great that you dare to speak about your Asperger's syndrom, and I encourage you to continue to speak about it! I wish I was as brave as you and had dare to speak about my own social problems to some of my friends that I have lost, all of the friends to whom I've dared to speak about it have been comprehensive
