Prehistoric insects.

Actually, historic pseudo-Lunemaras.

After a discussion in Region chat, a number of players agreed that we really, really miss a number of things about the old, original Lunemaras.

1. How very much they looked like insects. Seussian character Sylesties are great, but we want bugs, too!

2. Their delicacy. Our new/old insect Sylesti would have very light, fine shading on the wings.

3. Their cute lil' boopsnoots.

4. The finely-detailed toes and claws.

5. Big eyes!

6. Cylindrical bodies. Instead of a waist separating chest and abdomen, the new/old insect would have a waist-less body with, perhaps, some kind of mane or collar.

7. The buggy--that is, insectlike--details. For just one example, the Firefly trait used to have visible, if tiny, spiracles and a lot of very organic detail.

8. Did I already mention large, delicate wings?

No one is wanting to get rid of the new Lunes, but . . . why not have these Sylesties, too?

I think a spider looking Sylesti would be amazing, finally a sylestia with more than 2 eyes? :0

Porcupines! I think there could be some cool traits for that. :)

Not quite sure if this has been suggested, but cockatrices.

The (pre-revamp) design is already there, the description is there, (...a mystical Cockatrice supposedly captured in the vast desert to the south-east...) the area where it could be introduced...is drawn...
Yes, I just want a Stonewing of my own.

I'd really love a cow-like species, but make sure it's a cute and cuddly cow! I wouldn't like it if it was more like a bull and looked aggressive (like Morkko does for example).

A moth would be cool indeed, but I'd prefer if it was more on the creepy and mysterious side. It probably shouldn't have very prominent facial features since they don't IRL.

Axolotl - use the light cute ones as an example. I'd like if they'd have some, like, branchy coral tentacles. I mean, they already kind of do, but you could add mutations that make them look more like a tree/vine octopus on foot.

Shark, snake, lemur, wolverine, ferret, rat, alligator - I second those as well!

I'm looking at this and wondering where the Hippogriff is... and then smacking myself because I realise we have the Griffi.

But also where is the Sphinx and Loch Ness Monster.

Idea... a snake-like creature with a scorpion tail. It would have horns and would live in deserts *please do my idea!*

I wanna say how about we bring back the old kelps art as another animal. I loved them when they had legs and I'm really disappointed after all this time that we lost them to a hippocampus thing. I really want my "River Demons" back! I definitely lost my love for kelps when they changed.
