That would be so cool! A reptilian horse. We need to make it different from the qitari somehow, so you're right, we would definitely need the spines on it's back instead of the mane.

Maybe a Minataur? I had some early sketches for them, but I'm planning on redrawing a lot of things, so I can post it here when I'm done!
Gene1: Body markings
Gene 2: Fur/Armor markings
Gene 3: Weapon/horn markings
Mutation 1: armor (in place of the fluff)
Mutation 2: tail and horns
Mutation 3: weapons (like axes or swords)
