24 HOUR CALL!

Alright, this is everyone's 24 Hour Last Chance call. I am pretty sure the Turned In list is up to date. I believe we're waiting on four entries. Last round after I made the 24 Hour Call I got everyone's entries in within a few hours so I'm hoping for a similar result this time. Everyone has done really well so far this round and as a Disney obsessive I can't wait for the voting round. Good luck everyone! :)

Hey guys, just pinging everyone to let you guys know what my thought process is right now...

I'm looking at the calendar. Summer Festival starts in a week, so we're definitely not going to have this done BEFORE the festival obviously since we're not even halfway through the rounds. So there are a couple of things that I'm thinking of trying to do to make this as little of a hassle on everyone as possible.

First of all, I do plan on continuing to run this during the festival so if any of you don't feel like you're going to be able to keep up with this contest and the festival at the same time please let me know. I would hate to lose any of you, but I don't want to wait on entries that aren't going to get turned in so I would rather no in advance if you'd like to drop out and focus on the festival. There will be absolutely no hard feelings. :)

Second, I'm considering taking one day off of the time allotted for you guys to turn the designs in. This was going to happen eventually as we lost more people, but I want to try and start banging these rounds out faster. I don't want you guys to feel rushed or like you don't have enough time to make something amazing, but I also want to encourage people to get their designs in faster. The quicker I get all the entries the quicker we move on to the voting and round.

Lastly, I'm throwing around the idea of taking two rounds out completely. This leaves us with 8 rounds total including the Wildcard Round and the Final Round. Basically what this will mean is that more people will have to be eliminated throughout the next few rounds to leave us with a top four by the time we reach the Wildcard round, which will then give us a fifth finalist.

I definitely want to hear everyone's thoughts since this effects you a lot more than it effects me. Just let me guys know what you think would be the best course of action. Thanks everyone! :)

I'm sticking around! it's not like i have to spend money on this, and honestly there's gonna be times when i'm bored of exploring anyway.

one day off is fine for me, i usually wait until the last minute because i wanna tweak and tweak and tweak, but the sooner i start the sooner i'll finish tweaking, heh.

not sure if tossing out the two rounds is a good or bad idea, really. i'll see what others say and see if i agree with any of their reasonings about it.

Yeah, taking out two rounds is definitely not something I really WANT to do, I just think it might be necessary. At the very least I know there is one round that I'm not that thrilled with. I feel like each round so far and each round still to come has a different sort of challenge to it, and there's one round that I feel is just too similar to a previous round. It doesn't really progress the challenge of things. So if anything I'll just cut out that ONE round, and Round 8 will have four people eliminated instead of two.
