Okay so I'm wanting to do a Christmas/Winter Themed Dye Project. I tried playing around a bit but wasn't overly satisfied what I came up with, I've got the dyes but I need the idea. This is where you come in!
What I want you to do as participants is go through my stables (would be a Lot easier if you just use the advanced search tool) and Pick a pair of 6v un-dyed pets and play with them in the preview generator, they can have the same genes/mutations or different genes/mutations you decide.
(Edit: 12/28/14 6v means 6 visible traits, not 6 genes with a few carries just for those that aren't clear :end of 12/28/14 edit)

You Can use different pairs for each entry if you wish

Pets that are off limits in this are those in My Last Stable other wise go crazy making pairs just make sure colors are in the same spot.
Species I have with possible pairs: (Adult pairs unless the winner wants to wait until the hatchlings/adolescents they choose to grow up to get their prize)
Starting Time: As Soon As I get the 2nd post reserved
Ending Time: 1/1/15 Noon- When it ends I will choose the winner and dye the pets and hopefully get them a 1/1/15 bred egg from them
Rules:
1. Everyone gets only 3 entries, you can edit your posts and what ever you want to do before the end of the contest, if you have edited it after the ending time of the fest you will be disqualified.
2. They must be Winter or Christmas themed (Christmas as in the colors, please no religiously based pets)
3. No excessive chatting between contestants
4.Please Only post if you are participating!
4. No Reserving Posts and participants only use 1 post for your entries
5. Just post the images, the ID numbers of the pair you used, and a small explanation of your inspiration. (If you decide to post pictures as well Link it, don't post the picture, this way we can keep it less cluttered
Prize:
The Winner gets the first offspring from the pair they have that I choose to make into a dye project

I have a quick question, does it matter if the pets we choose have names?

All of these designs are meant for these two pets: ID#1051252 and ID#1030490.
Design #1
Christmas Draeyl
For this design, I used red, green and gold which are the colors most commonly associated with Christmas.
Design #2
Winter Draeyl
For this design I based the colors of snow and ice to give them a winter-y feel.
Design #3
Peppermint Draeyl
For this design (suggested by a friend) I based the colors on peppermint candies, like candy canes or pinwheels, which are often eaten exclusively during Christmas time.

I'm designing mine for these two: #1036247 and #826415
Design One: Christmas Star
First thing I think of when I think Christmas is the Christmas Star that sits atop the tree. Ours is gold and silver and the light dancing makes the silver turn white, so I based this design off that.
Design Two: Sugar Plum
One of my favorite holiday treats. Plus a classic when it comes to Christmas (Sugar Plum Fairy anyone?).
Design Three: Frosted Lake
I love watching the lake near my house freeze over as it gets colder, and when it flurries it gains a beautiful blue-green and white swirl that lasts for several hours after the sun comes back. (And decided to go more blue the blue-green, since it looks better on a pet)
