My assumption is that you're lacking a genetic testing kit to see the carried traits on the offspring.

A visible bred with an empty slot will only ever get you a carry, and carries can only be seen on a bred pet after a pet has been genetically tested.

Luckily there are a handful of players who are willing to test pets, most of which can be found in the Groups/Guilds/Clubs/Services part of the forums.

I'm not sure about all of them, but Orca has hers marked as being a free service right in the title. :)

Ideally, yes. You'll have a guaranteed carry of Mystic Water at the very least, with a chance of the male's carried G1 and G2 passing as well. (The carried each have a 50% chance of passing.)

When it comes to breeding for traits you can expect a long list of failed results before you get what you need. The bright side is that for the Kelpari, you get a chance to roll the dice every 3 days until the odds fall in your favor.

I'd also recommend changing up your naming system. With your full gene pool 0V2C could mean G1 and G2, or G1 and M3, or G2 and M3. Eventually it will become very confusing and tedious to backtrack and tally up their genetics if all of those potentials are simply named "0V2C" over and over and over again. If you're going to mark them, you may as well put "project G12" so you'll immediately know what the pet has without having to look around at other sources.

(I'm still hoping that one day the breeding generator will be given a big fancy update that shows a pet's traits, but ah... I'm sure that'll take a few more years. x_x; )

Since it's all carries you'll have a 25% chance for the individual trait slots to get a visible.

However, I'd say that you're better off using this female instead.

https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=5189898

If you aim for filling in all 3 traits rather than aiming for as many visibles as you can get, you'll greatly increase your project efficiency.

Even a 2-vis will only ever pass on 2 traits. You'll have to continue breeding another generation, if not more, before you get a pet that has potential to get you a 3V.

When it comes to efficiency, Two 3-carry breeders are superior to two 2-vis breeders because the 3-carries CAN give you a 3-vis offspring, while the 2-vis will, at max, only give you a 1V2C. It'll be a consistent 1V2C, perhaps, but the two 3-carry offspring have a chance to give you so much more. You'll just have to weed out the failed results until they do.

Try to fill all of your slots first, visible, carry, it doesn't matter which. It pays off in the long run. :)

I have a question involving these two Aurleons

They have approximately the same colors, genes, and were generated together. Both have carried traits in Galaxy Sprite and Snowdrift Wings. What are the odds that they produce a Female Aurleon with both traits visible, and the correct colors.(I'm not sure how to math this with the colors, so here I am.)
