Hi there! I am brand new to the site and very very frustrated.

How can I make gold faster? It costs 25k to unlock my third party slot, which seems necessary to be able to progress further and to participate in site events like the spring festival. I'm at around 2k now. Do I just have to keep grinding for 200 here, 300 there until I can make the 25k, or is there something I'm missing that will allow me to make more money more quickly? I can't capture egglings from the spring festival when bosses are in the way because I can only have two pets in my party. How do I make money more quickly so that I have some hope of getting a festival eggling? How do I make money more quickly so I can get dirt so I have some hope of growing a festival pet?

I didn't see any indication that the unique pets needed more than the basic trap to capture, and so spent all my money on basic traps. Where is the indication of a pet's rarity in the new battle system so that I will know in the future what kind of traps to buy and don't waste my money on something that's completely useless?

I feel like the festivals and... well... even basic progress in the game is prohibitively cost-ineffective for newbies. Am I just dumb and/or missing something? I'd like to be able to participate in the festival and get my hands on a cute new/exclusive pet but is that just not in the cards for me until I grind and grind and grind to get to 25k? I don't understand what I'm doing wrong and would very very much like some advice.

I understand it can be frustrating when you want to take part in the festival, but can't due to limited resources...

Regarding making gold , the easiest way is to send your pets on missions. The longer and higher level ones pay better, but you'll need a pet with all their points in the required stat, and probably need good equipment as well, to get the best rewards.

Besides that, as you explore and battle, you'll earn gold and find items. Sell whatever item you don't need. For "uncommon" and "rare" equipment, it's unlikely they'll sell on the trade broker, so just right click the item to send it to the "sell column" in the inventory to sell the items back to the system for gold.

You can also nurture pets from the hatchery for scales, use the scales to buy stuff like dyes, and sell those on the trade broker for gold.



If you're talking about trapping themed pets, you'll need at least a blue trap, since they are guaranteed to be at least rare.

How you tell what kind of rarity the pets are is by the colour of their stars. White is common (no traits), green is uncommon (1 trait point), blue is rare (2 points), purple is epic (4 points), yellow is legendary (6 points), and red is mythical (8 points).

So green traps catches green stars and below, blue traps blue and below, purple for purple and below. For yellow and red star, you'll need a master trap (red) that can be bought from the diamond shop, or on the trade broker from other players. The other traps can be bought from the respective towns, or the merchants in the festival zone.

The first town, only sells the green traps, the second town the green and blue, the third town green, blue and purple. So you'll need to progress through the storyline to buy the higher types of trap from the town. The merchants on the other hand sell all three traps, but have limited stock, so if they run out, you'll need to wait for them to restock (not sure when...)



Usually I tell new players to take things slow, get used to the game and save gold; but I understand with the festival going on, you want to participate as much as possible. Unfortunately, it'll be hard for you to participate fully compared to players who've been here a while. So just try to experience as much as you can, and save up and prepare for the next festival in a few months.

If so, go to the forum you want to create, for example to sell a pet, go to the pets auction forum. At the bottom right of the forum, there's a "new thread" button. Click that, and input the subject title, and message, and click post.

Hey! Just go to the generator under the Explore tab, and once you're there you should go to 'load generator'(The place where you can design your pet.) At the top, it will say: 'No essence loaded'. When you click on that you should be able to load it in.Hope that helped!
