I'm a little confused--if the genetic testing kits aren't available anymore, how come I see so many users whose every pet is genetically tested? :o
Is there any way I can get all mine genetically tested?

The one time kits are not available anymore, but you can get the unlimited version in the diamond shop. You will need diamonds to buy that though, which you can get by spending real money, or by buying from other players on the currency exchange.
If you can't get one, there are players in the breeding forum who offer free testing services.

I am super dumb and I don't know this because I forgot, but do you level up when your starter pet levels up? Right now I'm level 27, as well as my starter pet, but she's close to leveling up and i'm afraid that if I use her in battles she will level up and I won't be able to use her in battles anymore, because when I tried putting my level 60 zolnixi in my party, it wouldn't work.

Your user level changes to the highest level pet that you leveler up. It doesn't need to be your starter pet, so long as you own a pet, and use it in missions/battling/experience orb enough that it levels up, your user level will do so too.
This just prevents you from buying and using high level pets to OP through battles.

oh ok because i only thought it was the starter pet. I bought a level 40 lupora and couldn't use it.

You can't use the level 40 now because your user level is 35. But if you use it for missions, until it can be leveled up to level 41, your user level will jump to 41.
You just need to level up a pet that you own, and your user level will match that.

Hello, newbie here (I literally just started playing today).
A possibly very dumb question; on the generator (starter), I can't seem to be able to add any of the water dragon gene and mutations to my Sylvorpa, is there any kind of limitation on some of the genes and mutations or is it a bug? (I'm kinda of scared to go around randomly clicking)
Not sure this is the best place for the question but didn't where/who to ask, hope somebody can help me :)
