Earthian POWs Hawk Orwelle || 23 Appearance: Hawk is tall (6 ft 5) with intense blue-gray eyes. His tall stony-eyed gaze often stands in stark contrast to the boyish grin he was often known for. Despite his army training since the age of 17 and his love of eating, Hawks figure is slim and bony without much hint of muscle definition. Never being a fan of close-quarter flying, Hawk has no scars -- unless you count that one time as a kid he lost a fight to a broom he was playing with which left the tiniest mark on his forhead which is usually hidden by his shaggy mop of reddish brown hair. Usually, even when no formal attire is necessary, he dresses in freshly pressed polos and khakis, and when he joined the airforce, he made sure to always keep is uniform crisp and proper. [I'll make this better later] Personality: Sweet, goofy, but a bit of a trouble-maker, he's the person in the class that your parents tell you to avoid, although you can't help wondering what antics he's going to get into next. Not afraid to bend some rules for an adventure, he's free-spirited and fast on his feet. He has a witty tongue that can weave charm and deception together and usually saves him from some of his careless stunts.
He has a quick temper and loves to debate, even if he doesn't really believe the other side; however, he's also quick to calm down and forget. He might not be the smartest at math or science and especially English, but he's quite knowledgeable in reading a situation and people. He knows where to draw the line, how far to push the limits, and can usually lighten any room with a well-timed joke or comment. Despite struggling with the technicalities of how machines operated, Hawk has a keen eye for detail. He's the kind of person who on those spot the difference ones can find the difference almost instantaneously. Furthermore, despite not learning well from books, he is quick at learning by observing. After watching his older brother conduct basic first aid, Hawk learned how to use basic medication, give quick stiches, tie a turnikit, give Heimlich maneuvers, fun stuff like that. Likes: Although not particular skilled in making anything, functional, he has an eye for beauty and can make small detailed work out of wires, beads, and basically anything he can get his hands on. He also has a fascination with rain, and of course flight. Finding new and strange uses for mundane objects. Teasing Wright about his height Dislikes: Sitting still, splunking, caves, and basically anything underground. Despite his carefree comments, he has an intense fear that people will realize he can barely read or write. Backstory: As the youngest son out of a family of three whose brothers became professors and doctors, Hawk learned to think quickly and hide his embarrassment over his less than stellar grades. When he first heard of the possibility of being a pilot, he knew that was his goal.
When he started training to become a pilot, he was assigned to wash and dry the clothes. Deciding to see how far he could push his luck with his new team and commander, he replaced all the uniforms with tiny doll ones. When he was doing it wright walked in. Before Hawk could explain, their commander walked in and Wright blurted out "They shrunk in the dryer." Since then, they became an inseparable duo, and although the commanders often wanted to separate them, they grudgingly had to admit that although chaotic, their skills balanced each other on the field.
However, during one battle, an enemy hit one of the plane's elevators causing the plane to descend rapidly. Momentarily panicked because of the fancy mechanics, Wright managed to control their descent so they did not become another ball of fire. However the landing was rough and resulted in Wright breaking his leg. Overcoming his shock, Hawk helped his friend limp slowly away from the wreckage. However, as they approach sight of a shelter, they are spotted by the Arioha. Instead of leaving Wright to fend for himself, Hawk managed to create a makeshift splint before they are taken captive by the Arioha Country: England Siding with: **I read that as sliding with and I was like?????**

Arioha Soldier Hypatia Stern || 18 Appearance: Pale blue-gray skin (the same color as Hawk's eyes because why not) with strands of whispy white hair she keeps in a messy bun. She has frazzled bronze eyes that make her look like she's in a constant state of surprise and fascination. Her thin gray lips are often pressed into a thin cruel sneer.
She has a sort of puggy face, like one of a sweet child, although the rest of her demenor is neither sweet or childlike. She has an average frame, both in height and her strength. She wears the standard clothing of an arioha soldier, but she added a lab coat with many pockets bulging with various concoctions, gadgets, and writing utensils to the normal ensemble. Personality: She speaks in a high sing-song voice both mocking but also somehow a little playful. However, her words are often cruel, sardonic, and twisted. She has little regard for Arioha life and thus can come off as unnerving. Despite this, her keen observations and mastery in the science has made her extremely valuable and somewhat tolerated, if not welcomed or trusted completely. She is quick to praise especially if one presented her with a new idea, even if unconventional. Contrary to her usual twisted and vicious nature, she was known to never lie or betray. Furthermore, she never tolerated anyone who did, even if it was a small white lie, and took pleasure in seeing those who lied suffer. Likes: Experimenting with new concoctions, especially what affect they have on all living species. She also loves rhymes and clever wordplay too. While she doesn't "love" doing it, she has no problem planning sadistic fates to people who have wronged her Dislikes: False pretenses, lies, betrayals. Backstory: Hypatia never had much of an urge to join the army. Ever since finding out about the strange foreign land, she saw it as their right to conquer it and take those pathetic people from their land, no more trivial then removing an annoying animal species from a garden. She spent most of her time focused in science and medication, and although talented with medication, found no pleasure in being a doctor and giving reassurances that everything would be alright. However, once she found out that some of the Earthens were taken prisoner to Mars, she enlisted for the army, not as a soldier but rather as a medic. She was taken on due to her record of being talented at healing, however she joined for her personal agenda of being able to study the interesting people. Appearance
6' 1", fairly lean, looks like a fast runner. He has platinum blond hair that's getting a bit too long and stormy dark grey eyes, somehow always appearing just a bit disheveled no matter what he's wearing-- or maybe it's because he has a tendency to wear everything ever so slightly out of regulations. He has several scars, mostly up and down his arms, causes ranging from everything from tripping into a wire fence to trying to catch burning hot metal, although you can rarely see them due to his habit of wearing wool jackets 24/7 regardless of the weather.
(This is literally the only reference I can find for hairstyle lol, not my art obviously)
Personality
Rather dashing and charismatic, he's well-liked by almost everyone, and is especially loyal to and protective of his friends. He tends to help random people out if he happens to be free, which doesn't actually happen that often, seeing as he's rather restless and instead is usually busy working on various metalworking projects just for fun or picking up random hobbies-- in fact, when he's set on learning something, he won't stop until he's perfected it. He has a chaotic and adventurous streak, enjoying getting into just a bit (a lot) of danger and sometimes causing mischief, despite coming across as sensible and levelheaded to those who don't know him that well (which he is, but only about 90% of the time). He is practically impossible to provoke, and is fairly good at keeping a clear head, thinking quickly, and remaining optimistic under stress. He is also an excellent tactician, has incredible aim, and knows a few too many ways to start a fire. He enjoys sitting down and working out a solution to a problem, and seems to only get more delighted the more times he tries something and it fails.

Backstory
Before joining the air force at the age of 17 to aid with the war effort, Wright grew up with his watchmaker father and a younger brother named Wilbur (hehe), who is 8 years younger than him. He met Hawk after spontaneously covering for him after a prank, and the two soon became best friends as well as partners in the field.
While flying over dangerous territory, their plane was hit by enemy fire, damaging their elevator and causing them to nosedive. While Hawk panicked over the controls, Wright took over, but broke his leg in the resulting crash as he rushed to go fix the engine. The two made it out alive, but their escape was hindered by Wright's broken leg, and both were finally caught and taken as prisoners by the Ariohans less than a mile from safety despite Wright practically threatening Hawk to leave him there.
