Clarissa the Typical Teenager
The young dragon lady and her dog are out for a walk in the cemetery, hoping to find a friend to two. It's hard to meet people when you're only allowed out in the dark. She's sure that her father has his reasons, but it seriously sucks! And why can't she be around humans during the day anyway? Even though they don't have bone wings. And bone animals. And friendly demon monkeys that follow them around, even though they can be pesky brats sometimes. And she guesses that humans might be a little scared of someone with horns on their head. Though hers are really small compared to her dad's. No, not small. Petite.

Sigh, ok. Maybe her dad is right about staying away from humans. It does seem a bit risky. But at least she gets to go out every night to walk Buster. Bone poop really does smell horrible when he goes potty in her room because she's late getting his leash. Worse even than the blood meatloaf that her mother likes to serve at dinner. Oh well. She's sure that there's a handsome bone-winged dragon out there for her that she'll meet one day and fall in love with. Probably not tonight, though she better keep her eyes peeled just in case....

Un-named Doll

She cannot remember where she came from.

All she knows is that one day she woke up, sitting upon a shelf. Her eyes watched the children pass her by, waiting, waiting for someone she'd call master. But for a long, long time, no one did. Her skin was too pale, eyes too dark, grin too wide. The children did not like her.

Then, someone did. A small girl. She picked her up and took her home. She blabbers to her, but the doll does not understand. English is a foreign language. All she knows is that she loves her owner,

For many years she stays with the girl. It's nice. Her owner makes her flower crowns often, with the pink roses from the garden. She threads them together with golden thread, and places it upon the doll's head. A purple flower goes on her dress, decorated with a silver chain. Flowers sit upon her head. She loves her owner.

One day she stops.

Her owner is older. She's busy, too busy to pay attention. There are no more new flower crowns, only the rotten petals of the one made many months ago.

That can't do.

So doll possesses her. And soon, she too, becomes like doll. With skin too pale, eyes too dark, grin too wide. And with those pale, pale hands, she makes another flower crown. From the same roses in the garden, the same golden thread. She fumbles with it, she's not used to using her hands. But that's alright.

She loves her owner.

Dapper Dan the Maniacal Man

Time is ticking
It's Halloween night
Treating or tricking
You're in for a fright

About is Dapper Dan
Well dressed, in style
A maniacal man
Most creepy and vile

He quietly waits
For costumed children
To take his bait
Perhaps one to ten

Then off he flies
His prizes in hand
Say your goodbyes
Home's not where you'll land!

Lady Helena

Abandoned at the altar, on the third day of the fall festival, Lady Helena took to the woods. Overwhelmed with sorrow and heartache, she found herself in unfamiliar territory, so far in the woods that she could not find her way out in the darkness. Helena, her eyes filled with tears unable to make sense of her surroundings, was never truly seen after. Many say they can still hear her cries at the edge of the woods on the night of the third day of the festival each year, some even claim to have seen her, her eyes welled in a black tar, desperate to find the one who'd left her.
Impossible to know whether she seeks revenge or closure, but each year after, on the third day of the fall festival, the townsfolk leave offerings at the very edge of the thick forest, asking for prosperity, luck, or even mercy. The offerings are always gone by sunrise, though some claim it was only wild animals, others know that Lady Helena still roams the land in her afterlife, destined to be lost for all eternity.
Those who make the mistake of roaming these woods, years later, in search of Lady Helena, disappear. Leaving behind only their rations and a faint trail of tar. Could it be wild Zolnixi's? Morkko's, even? Or perhaps.. a bride longing for her bride.

Autumn Grove Guardian

From far Ethernia, the city glow
Cast light on hidden trees below
The grove once lost, now alight
With warmth and mystery out of sight

Though fall has come, the trees are lush
Their leaves are here, and sounds are hushed
Not subject to the sun's decay
The grove will blossom without rays

Above the blooming trees around
A hunter hides without a sound
Her bow and partner by her side
For in the darkness, monsters hide

The Enchantress of the Hallowed Forest

The Enchantress of the Hallowed Forest was a force to be reckoned with. Her father was a powerful Warlock, the, the first Warlock in generations to be the Guardian of the Elder Realm of the 7th dimension. Her mother, was rumored to be many things, but no one quite knew. The result of the pair, no matter what the case may be, was their stunning daughter, whom many were enthralled by her beauty. However, The Enchantress one day wanted to be sought out for more than just her magical capabilities and looks, she wanted power. She performed a forbidden spell of the ancestors to gain more magical capabilities as well as control over the beings in the 6th realm, the realm holding the banish creatures, which ultimately backfired. She was cursed to walk the rest of her days with a spider's abdomen and the ancient runic writings of the ancestor's as a warning to those who gaze upon her, that she now harbors the ancient demon of Lilith. Those linger in her presence for too long may find the fate to be a quick demise as the demon Lilith gains control and drains them of all life force, to grow stronger. One day when the Enchantress's and Lilith's mind become one, it will signal the end is nigh, for the 7 Dimensions of Moria Arnor.

The Magic Crow

Her form can change from avian to humanoid, her voice can mimic language and sound. She hears and remembers and repeats. She observes humans and their ways. A few she will befriend, but most will face her mischief.

They gave her the doll for her seventh birthday.

She came in a package of bright pink paper with a gold and pastel blue ribbon and glitter that shone if you moved the box back and forth beneath a lamp. Her hair shone like spun gold, her eyes a vapid pink and plastic smile painted on slightly haphazardly. Accessories included a seashell comb, a plastic tube to place around her waist and the companion sylesti advertised on the box.

The doll went everywhere with her after that. Tucked beneath her arm, sitting in a pack she slung over her shoulder. She combed beautiful, cornsilk locks and told stories of the doll and her companion roaming the land in search of adventure. Standard and expected things of a young child.

No one paid much mind when she began bringing her doll to the table, setting up its own chair with a tiny plate and cup and silverware. Her mother thought this amusing. Her father just ignored it. She told them the doll liked desserts best of all. And who wouldn't?

One night a clatter of noise woke the girl's mother. Rising, she heard distinctive giggling from her daughter's room. Voices whispering to each other. Did she invite a friend over for an unapproved sleepover? Yet when she opened the door, she found only her daughter, sitting atop her bed with the doll across from her. Dismissing this as an imaginative if recalcitrant childish thing, she picked the doll up and put it back on the shelf and tucked her daughter back into bed.

"Mom, she doesn't like it when you put her on the shelf."

"Well, I'm sure she'll be fine for just a night, hmm?"

The next day, the mother found her precious teacup collection scattered across the kitchen floor, all in pieces. Confronting her daughter, who she knew would sometimes play with them despite being told not to, she was met with a pitiful, "But the doll did it."

And so began a month of mishaps in the house. Things broke. Things went missing. Things mysteriously reappeared in strange places. At her wits end, both parents finally confronted their daughter.

Who again, complained, "I didn't do it, the doll did."

And it was decided on the spot that the doll should be punished, then, and they took her away, cornsilk locks, comb, companion and all. The girl, they felt, would be sad to lose her toy and perhaps confess her sins in hopes of getting it back. Disturbingly, she only appeared anxious. "She'll get really mad if you do that."

So the doll was put back into her box and placed in the basement amidst other odds and ends. There it would stay, the girl was told, until she told her parents the truth and apologized for her mischief.

But the mischief continued. At night, the mother woke to hear the patter of feet on the floorboards outside her door. And yet, as she peeked out into the hallway, nothing and no one was there. The father would hear giggling in the basement. But, on inspection, could not find the source. Only the doll in her box, staring at him with that plastic smile and vapid pink eyes.

Things went missing again, disturbing things. Knives disappeared from the kitchen block. Only to reappear suddenly when both parents woke in the dead of night, finding the doll sitting at the foot of their bed, a knife resting in front of her. Eventually, having had enough, they threw the doll out into the trash.

She reappeared in the girl's bedroom again, sitting on the shelf. The mischief ceased for a time, perhaps the doll quelled by being back in the girl's room again. Still uncertain, both parents pondered their daughter's well being. Was she stealing everything, setting the doll up to menace them?

Eventually they decided together to send the girl to live with her grandparents. At least for a short time. The summer, just the summer.

No one is quite sure how the fire started. Only that the house was ablaze in seconds and engulfed everything. Nothing left in its wake but ashes. The bodies of the house's owners were discovered huddled together in the basement. Why on earth had they sought shelter there rather than flee to safety?

And who on earth left such tiny footprints in the ash and soot?

Fenrir: God of Autumn Endearment (Fenrir: Fraudulent Love Guru)
Similar to Cupid, Fenrir symbolizes love and attraction. But whilst Cupid is a proffessional in his career who is in charge of creating love on Valentine's Day, Fenrir is simply a nosy gossip who likes to spend his Thanksgiving acting as a love guru. He carries around his shiny golden arrows, offering blessings to all of those who's paths he may cross. Despite the fact that he is a notorious fraud, many still claim that upon receiving his blessing they discovered true love within the following week. Whether this is true or false can only be determined by those who have recieved the blessing, but it is said that once your true love is in close proximity to you, a glowing heart will appear around your eye, and in that moment, you will feel a joyously dizzying warmth spread through your chest.
