Jack nodded. "Quite."

Everyone sat down to dinner and all was well.

Even though he would've adored making some jokes and poking fun, Ian refrained from from it for dinner was a time of somewhat peace.

After dinner, though, and potentially helping clean it up, the unspoken treaty wasn't in affect any more.
Scarab took their leave when they had helped clean things up after dinner. They didn't really like Parker, Ian, and Jacob.

Jack noticed, but said nothing.

Ian leaned over by Kiara, smiling flirtatiously down at her. He opened his mouth to make a flirty comment.

Ray leans against Jack, thankful they had him with them.

Kiara nods and, before Ian could say anything, hands him a towel to wipe down the table with. "Yes, you can help. Thanks." Her sky blue eyes twinkled merrily as she beams up at him.

Jack hugs them gently, kissing the top of their head and whispering 'I love you.' to them.

Ian chuckled, using the towel to playfully flick her shoulder. "No prob, cute thang."

Ray hums happily, feeling comfortable and safe in Jack's arms. They chirp 'I love you' back, smiling at him.

Kiara playfully punches his arm to get back at him for flicking her shoulder with the towel. She knew how to throw a powerful punch if she wanted to, but she didn't want to hurt Ian so she struck him as softly and lightly as she could.

Jack smiled fondly at Ray. "Mine." He said, then nibbled their hair a little.

Ian laughed, going to clean the table for her. "So, can I get a kiss if I do a good job?" He asked her.

Ray laughs softly and wraps their arms around Jack, resting their head on his chest, "And you're mine. It's a good thing we have each other."

"How about if you do a good job, I'll let you go with your life." Kiara suggestd, though she and Ian both knew she wouldn't do anything too terrible to him if he didn't do a good job. Probably just a long lecture about how to properly wipe down a table. She watches him do the table to make sure he did a good job. She didn't want to have to go over it after him.
