"Interesting." Nic noted. "My...cousin....has telepathy, though he rarely uses it."

She shrugged. "Light leaping can't be much different then your teleportation, except maybe the fact that light leaping has to be done from a light area to another light area and you temporarily become light." She tugged her hair. "Or permanently." She said as her smile faded a little.

Nicote shrugged. "More like shadow to shadow for me, though I cna easily travel through a shade and become temporarily invisible. Wait, permanantly?"

She blushed. "Yeah." She usually never talked about it, in fact it had been awhile since she last talked about it. "It's because I'm not a full elf." She said as she pulled her hair down over her face. She didn't know about here, but back in her home mountain it was considered bad to not be purely elf.

"It's not just the light leaping ability." She said as she went on. "Any power that requires me to actively bend light makes me turn into light and if I do it too much it could be permanent."

"....Yikes. at least you probably do not constantly teleport into solid objects." Nicote pointed out. "Oddly, I dont seem to have the problem of tuebugn into shadows thought I too am half elf."

She tilted her head up. "Really?" She said not quite believing it. "Well don't come visit where I'm from, they hate huelfs and your power seems to be tied to shadows." She smiled sheepishly hoping he didn't take offense at that. "I mean, I quite like you." She blushed. "I mean you're cool and all."

"Great job Astra you probably got the only person who ever talked to you to now hate you." She muttered under her breath.

"You would be surprised how many insults I used to get on a daily basis so no worries." Nic told her. "Drolping in from another planet in the middle of a war...not quite a perfect entrance."

She laughed. "You'd be surprised how often I dropped from another planet into the middle of a war." She said before pausing. "Wait don't tell me you took that as an insult, I truly didn't mean it as one...but if you are looking for a whole bunch of insults because you dropped from another planet into the middle of a war, Canopus is the place to go."

"Yes, well, I think I am fine without more insults at the moment. I believe Lishian has actually created a list of the ones that he knows of for the both of us. Paritcularly me." NIc shrugged.

She smirked. *Wait just give me a second Im sure I can think of some more insults right now just to make sure you were fine without.* she tapped her lip and put on a deeply pensive expression. Finally she gave up. *Yeah, Im not really good at the whole insulting thring, Im much better at being insulted or insulting myself.*
