Then again, Siren magic is hard to diffuse- her mother might be using illusions. Though Sirens needed their voice for most magic, illusions was an exception.

Half-human. Unless her father was another magical being, but thats highly unlikely, as they would have had no reason to make her look human.

So...she was half human. Maybe her mother wasn't human, and her father didn't know and that's why he tried to kill her.
