I smile shyly and sit down in the chair he had pulled out.
"Th-thank you very much." I say, my hair and fur starting to dry out. I pick up the sandwich and take a bite, clearly enjoying it. "Mmmmm!" I smile, loving this new food. "It is really good Jace." I say after swallowing, "What's in it?"

I'd chuckle. "Since your not a vegetarian, i had to get some meat at the store. This is savage pig." I'd say, smiling that she enjoyed what i picked out from that store.

"Savage meat is best meat." I giggle, finishing about half and working into the other side. "What are you having?" I ask between bites, very sure that I don't talk with food in my mouth or chew with my mouth open. I drop a few crumbs but that is it.

Jace Mason



I'd grab a cheese sandwich, put it on a plate, and sit right next to April. "What i fed you the first time i met you, a cheese sandwich." I'd say, biting into it.

"Ohh that was yummy too. Thanks by the way, for helping me... I don't think I would have made it any longer without you and Rafe." I say sincerely, finishing the sandwich. "What do you write about, by the way? You are a famous writer right?"

I'd sigh, trying to recall my latest books. "I usually write fantasy romance, but that's really ironic." I'd chuckle. "I write a lot of fantasy books, i get a lot of sales due to kids liking my books, teens and kids."

"Fantasy is great! What is romance?" I tilt my head to the side, dropping one ear and keeping the other raised. My eyes glisten with interest as I learn about the outside world and it's likings, and how Jace connected with it in his own unique way.

I'd sigh, knowing that it would be a bit weird to explain romance. "Romance is love essentially, in the books it's usually a adventure with two people, and how they become closer and closer together, until in the end, they confess each other's love." I'd say, wincing a bit about the topic. "There is also tragedy...which is love that goes unheard by death or law."

I squint, unsure of what that meant.
"So when you said you loved me, that is romance... But is that the only action that qualifies? Wouldn't your family say that too... But your context sounds a bit different." I say softly, edging closer in case I don't hear him right. I prop my chin up on my hands, swishing my tail back and forth in a playful manner.

I'd look at her, getting what she meant. "It's usually someone outside of the family, and act's could include like...Dating and just being together." I'd say. "Family love is a bit different, where it's your father or something, but that feeling of being with someone for the rest of your life comes from someone outside of the family."
